A hat tip to the right-leading OC Political blog on this post that asks the question, why hasn’t Republican US Senate candidate dentist/lawyer/realtor Orly Taitz released a copy of her U.S. Naturalization papers?

Taitz was born in the former Soviet Union and says she was naturalized in the 1990s. But the lead birther who continually files lawsuits insisting that President Obama was not born in the U.S. needs to follow her own advice and produce the orginal document with the raised seal that certifies she is a US citizen.

From OC Political:

Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution requires:

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

So only a natural born citizen can be President of the United States.

U.S. Senate candidate Orly Taitz has repeatedly launched lawsuits challenging the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate and asserting that Obama is not a natural born citizen. Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution requires:

No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.

Taitz freely states that she was born in the former Soviet Union in present-day Moldova. She claims she became a naturalized citizen in 1992. However, she has never released her naturalization certificate.

Obama and Romney have released their birth certificates, yet Taitz has not released her naturalization certificate. If she were simply a private citizen, she’d have no obligation to do so, but now that she is running for the United States Senate, should it not be incumbent upon her to prove that she meets the constitutional requirements to become a U.S. Senator?

If she is a properly-naturalized citizen, then Taitz should just release her naturalization certificate. Why hasn’t she released her naturalization certificate? Does she have something to hide?

So does she or doesn’t she?

   Orly, I do believe the proper response is to immediately release your naturalization papers and say,

   “I thought you would never ask.” That is meant to be very sarcastic !!!!!

   Think of the publicity, Orly. This would be great for you!!!

   Please reconsider. You have nothing to hide and they would have absolutely no freakin response, except you can’t see Obama’s.

   Remember, say, I thought you would never ask, here ya go!!

   Don’t look at it as an attack, look at it as an invitation.

   I say call them out.

   Immediately produce a certified Birth Certificate and Naturalization papers. State that nobody should have a problem providing actual unforged documents for public review when running for public office.

   Only someone with something to hide would hesitate showing such documents.

   OR EVEN BETTER : Provide them a FORGED DOCUMENT exactly like Obama’s only with your name in the place of his and claim you are Obama’s twin sister. Have them prove otherwise! You can direst them to Hawaii DOH for verification. HI DOH should refuse to provide any information.

   Orly, I just put this on birtherreport.org and wanted you to see it. It was in reference to Romney putting out his short form.

   I think so too. Did you notice how that got almost zero coverage? That was really strange. The last time a Presidential nominee was totally ignored, it was Ron Paul. I mean here is the nominee, who puts out a piece of paper and he gets absolutely no coverage? Come on now. We know why.

   Orly has also been asked to show her naturalization papers. I tried to encourage her to do so and very quickly so it hits them in the a$$. Romney was baiting Obama and Orly should do the same. She would get a ton of publicity from it. AND they would have absolutely no response to get out of it. It would be checkmate.

   I can also show my naturalization paper.
   But like Orly, we are not the issue.
   Politifake.org is showing desperation. The country is getting aware that Obama wasn’t really born in HI and he has made a great fool of the United States.
   With Orly in the U.S. Senate, she can no longer be ignored. She will subpoena those complicit in the great cover up on the century. And heads will roll.

    as I said: when we get access to Obama’s original docs instead of the crude forgery that he posted on line, I will sign a consent to examine my papers. We’ll talk further after the primary

    Waiting til after the primary is OK if you think you will win it, I do.

    However, I strongly disagree with the comments here. The adult response is to issue them immediately so that they are cornered. Your headline should be:

    Orly Taitz Immediately Releases Naturalization Record on Obama’s Request, she is still waiting for his.

    You must take the high ground on this. Not the I will if you will approach. That doesn’t work at all in this case. It is a huge mistake to play it that way. It is a losing message. You lead by example. Don’t play that old game, get out in front, like Romney did. Your message is, I am running for office and the people have a right to know, even though it is just for a senate seat. I would expect even more from a President.

    Hey, JD: did Obama show his B.C. or anything else when he ran for the senate in 2004? Noooo!
    Has he done this since? Noooo! So your argument is simply NOT valid! Yessss!

    Romney is running for President…and that’s a different story! Those people in govt already have been playing games with each other for so long, it’s accepted behavior!!!

    But I can help you out here…cause Orly showed me her B.C. and naturalized info, and everything’s in order!!!! lol. Just like the Hawaii officials saw Obamas’ B.C.!!! Think back…all the nwo does is prank Orly off. Who cares what they want???!!!

    So I wouldn’t trust them, even if they had a Bible in their hands and were quoting Scripture!!! Orly’s doing this the right way! Cause it’ll piss them off every day from now on!! LOL!

    P.S. Orly, I think that Egbert Lewis (right above Chito’s post) is one of the FaceBook “group” that has posted against you on your own FaceBook Page! And he seems to think this is funny!!! Right, Eggggy?!

    I also asked for FaceBook to take down that scurrilous page created by someone else, that’s on your page there! But don’t know (at this moment) if they did this, yet?
