Republicans: It’s time to take back our country and our state, starting here. For example, inside you will find we are supporting Judy Luchsinger for County Superintendant of Schools. Ever since Judy left the position fifteen years ago, non-classroom education costs have exploded. Please read this; Judy’s opponent was Superintendant of Kelseyville School District at the time of this Grand Jury Report.
Citizen’s Complaint:
On February 23, 1994, the Grand Jury received a Citizen’s Complaint alleging the Kelseyville School District’s Board of Trustees, its Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent were getting the District into financial disaster by questionable business techniques, bad business policies and practices and incompetent management. Also received was a deposition from a school secretary, with photo-copies of line-item budget pages indicating misuse of school funds. Monies apparently budgeted for one program were being used in another program. This may have prevented certain of the school’s budgeted programs from being carried out.
Findings:
It appeared, on studying the photo-copied pages, that there were substantial grounds to investigate this charge. The Grand Jury consulted with the District Attorney’s Office. That office was in agreement with the Grand Jury and has now taken the matter in hand. That part of the complaint which is political in nature does not come under the jurisdiction of the Grand Jury.
Recommendation:
The District Attorney’s Office follow through to determine whether any criminal activity exists.
Vote Judy Luchsinger for County Superintendant of Schools. Look inside for the rest.
