My name is Daryn J. Moran. I am a SSgt in the USAF stationed in Germany.
I called Pastor Manning of the Manning Report just recently (Youtube video posted below) to share my concern for our country. Boils down that I have not gone in to work last Thurs. and Fri. First time I was AWOL in nearly 13 years. Until B. Obama provides a birth certificate which stands up to professional examination, not even mentioning the seriousness of the fact that his father was never an American, I no longer serve the Armed Forces or take orders.
Basically, I’d rather follow Mr. Lakin, the ex-Army officer who went to Ft. Leavenworth, into war against our real enemies.
My family is in turmoil because I cannot change my heart to support Obama, or protect his criminality. I love America and the Constitution and stand against B. Obama. He should be arrested.
I will not be going to work Monday morning at Landstuhl. They haven’t even called my house yet, but they will come for me soon.

Tomorrow I’m not reporting for work again, and it is simply because B. Obama is a criminal. I am praying and marshaling all of my strength to resist.
Yet, I told my wife I would die for this issue. The Constitution and our country are worth it.
I only hope to tell people of the Lord as this battle ensues.
We reached out to Commander Charles Kerchner for comment and his response is as follows,
Once again we have an ordinary soldier standing up on his own volition to demand that the Usurper-in-Chief be investigated to determine Obama’s true legal identity in response to the mountain of evidence that Obama has committed birth certificate fraud, SSN fraud, draft registration fraud, and real estate fraud. Obama’s true legal identity is not conclusively known. This should not be necessary. Soldier in the ranks should not have to be demanding our leaders and Congress take action to investigate Obama. This should not be a bottom up action mode but a top down action mode to protect our country and the Constitution from a usurper. The Joint Chiefs of Staff of our military should be taking action. They took a solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. It is now obvious that we have a domestic enemy of the Constitution in the Oval Office. The Joint Chiefs should call Congress and arrange for a private, secret meeting with the key leaders in Congress such as Speaker Boehner and tell them that what is going on in our country with the criminal activities in the White House with the placing of a forged Obama birth certificate onto the White House servers on 27 April 2011 is of great concern to them and of great concern for the morale and integrity of our military and their living up to their oath to support and defend the Constitution, not a criminal putative president. The Joint Chiefs of Staff should be telling Congress they must convene a congressional investigation to investigate the criminal charges of identity theft and others being made against Obama. The Joint Chiefs should give Congress 7-10 days to call for a congressional investigation of Obama as a result of the private, secret meeting. And if the Congress still does not act, then the Joint Chiefs of Staff should hold a public news conference and reveal that they have made a plea to Congress to act, and that Congress is still not acting, and make a new public demand on Congress to call for a congressional investigation of Obama and to ask for the support of the American people to demand that Congress launch a full investigation.

First, to set the matter straight, he is a non-commissioned OFFICER (NCO) and is, indeed, an officer.
Secondly, I don’t know of any more of a commitment one can make for their principles than to sacrifice 13 years of active duty service. This is something that is NOT taken lightly. I don’t know if I would have had the intestinal fortitude to do likewise.

God bless you Staff Sergeant Moran. May you be the inspiration for thousands upon thousands of our military men and women to stand up for the Constitution they are sworn to preserve, protect, and defend.
Since all military orders, whether they be ‘clean the latrine’ or ‘kill the enemy’, originate with the authority granted to and by the Commander in Chief, and if they originate from an unknown and unproven source, then until lawful and Constitutional authority is shown, it is the duty and responsibility of every member of our armed forces to ‘stand down’ – NOW!
As I type this response, I am watching the 10 year-old singing sensation Jackie Evancho on PBS (singing a duet with Barbara Streisand – ‘A Place For Us’), and my heart breaks to think that she could be growing up in a world without the benefit of our beloved Constitution and the Republic for which it stands.

To set the record even straighter, calling a Staff Sergeant an officer may be technically correct, but it is misleading. It is pretty much universally accepted that using the simple term “officer” refers to COMMISSIONED officers (as Mr. Lakin was and SSgt Moran is not).
On the other hand, yes we in the miltary took an oath. And in order that oath says “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” And I believe it was in that order for a reason. Thank you.

An NCO isn’t the same as a commissioned officer, and is punished in the same way as an enlisted person (NJP rather than court martial). Additionally, an NCO is NOT the same as an Officer, in that they are enlisted and take the enlisted oath, not the commissioned officers oath. Moran is a coward and deserter, you fools would follow any two bit carnival barker, its sad, really.
This guy has been informed he’s being booted for his personality disorder (can’t get along with gay or Muslim soldiers) and now wants to get some of the action from birthers (how long before you clowns start sending him donations?).

Yes, but it is not up to a soldier to decide who the enemies are. Otherwise, you are giving every soldier the auhtority to shoot whoever he pleases, just as long as he is “convinced” that person is “an enemy”. Doesn’t work that way in the military.
Likewise, it is not up to a soldier to disobey orders simply because he “has doubts” whether the CiC is legitimate. If this were allowed, our military could no longer work.
Remember people, this is not civilian life where you can say “show me your ID, officer”. In the military, you cannot tell your superior officer “I need confirmation the general gave you these orders before I carry them out”.

Our military is overseas fighting terrorism and 0bama is erecting the world’s largest outdoor mosque at the Flight 93 crash site in Pennsylvania to honor the terrorists who murdered 40 United States citizens. After reading up on this guy, I don’t think he’s going to be much help. First off, he isn’t even an officer. Second, it appears that the military is already getting rid of him. He’s got posts all over the internet about how he doesn’t want to serve with gays or muslims and that’s why he’s being discharged.
After thinking about it, I think I may have a solution to finally get Obama this way. Why don’t we enlist a few good patriots to join various branches of the military. Have them join, take the oath and then refuse to serve until Obama shows proof of his eligibility? Surely, there are some good patriots out there that are willing to do this for their country, aren’t there? Maybe you could advertise on your website that we’re looking for young people to do this?

Believers out there need to understand the great spiritual war going on in this country. Pray and fast, even, for a break though of our corrupt political system. 1. NCO’s are never referred to an Officer in any branch. They fall under enlisted rank and are never saluted, etc.
Ok now on this deserter. He has what is coming to him–three hots and a cot in Leavenworth. When a person joins the Military they take an oath to defend this COUNTRY, regardless who is President. I knew many many who hated Bush will a passion and hated his wars–they continued to serve because that is what an honoroable patriot.soldier really does. You just can’t decide to not work based on your own personal opinion of the CIC. They are to follow orders even if they don’t agree with them. This man showed deep disrespect not to his fellow airmen, but to the Air Force and to the country. Someone in an earlire comment said he was already discharged, so looks to me like he is trying to get his 15 minutes AFTER the fact. I bet you the next step he takes is to ask for money, and you fools will give it.

Lt Cdr Lakin was NEVER accused of a mental disorder, has a very high intelligence and a very good education. He was a true patriot, motivated only by love of country.

If you really want to pressure the U.S. Military to do something about Soetoro aka Obama’s eligibility issue, encourage high school seniors to visit their local recruiters to inform them that they are ready and willing to sign up, just not until they are assured that Soetoro aka Obama is IN FACT a “natural born” citizen. Until then, have the students leave their contact information with the recruiters, and wait for the call. Of course, you must give your presentation and make sure that they understand that NOTHING Soetoro aka Obama, or his propagandists in the media have provided-to date, is sufficient proof. This presentation can easily be done on Facebook.

This makes no sense, there has to be another reason why he doesnt want to serve. GW Bush didnt win the election in 2000, some would call his legal shortcuts with the supreme court a criminal offense. Not to mention he started a war based on false evidence. The result caused the death of many american lives. He probably would have been overthrown anyway in arab spring, so why didnt you go AWOL then?

As an enlisted Non Commissioned Officer he has taken an oath to also obey orders from his superiors. What he is doing I believe can be construed as desertion in time of war and therefore can technically be punishable through a court martial and sentenced to death if pushed to the limits. I served my time fighting in Vietnam back when the only other option would have been to go to Canada. No way did I like being drafted nor did I like our Commander in Chief who was a true criminal what with Watergate. Still I served proudly beside several who did not make it home to enjoy the freedoms people can enjoy. My final note is this: You signed up for the Military so damn it serve proudly and obey your Commander in Chief or expect the penalties you are going to receive.

We have a US King now who has been installed by the politically elite. Not a president. To be a president an individual must meet the requirements of Article ll section 1 of our Constitution. All know this isn’t the case. Either we accept this situation and in doing so invalidate all the blood, sweat, tears and sacrifices of our Founding generation ( as well as subsequent generations) or we do whatever we can to elevate this situation to America’s awareness. Also, the military term “officer” refers to a commissioned officer. NCOs are enlisted members, not officers. No NCO, or Warrant Officer, would refer to himself or herself as an “officer”.
As in, “Don’t call me Sir, I work for a living!”.
