Secretary of state candidate Orly Taitz has filed court papers suggesting Elena Kagan’s nomination to the Supreme Court is a reward for protecting Barack Obama from Taitz.
Taitz, a Laguna Niguel attorney who has built a reputation on allegations that Obama is not a natural-born citizen, writes that as solicitor general, Kagan had received Taitz’s claims that Obama has not presented a valid birth certificate and has used a Social Security number that’s not his.
“(Y)et she did not take action and remained silent,” Taitz writes in this filing. “In light of all of the above a question begs to be asked: was there a quid pro quo, was the appointment to the Supreme Court a thank you for her silence?”
