Today Anderson Cooper, a reporter from CNN, interviewed Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and reported that President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are now going on a trip to Mumbai, India, with 3,000 individuals entourage. It was reported, that the cost of the trip and security is $200 million dollars per day, that will be paid by us, the tax-payers . I do not know if the amount quoted in the press is correct, but even if the total cost is incorrect, a trip and security for 3,000 individuals to far East is extremely costly. Knowing extravagance of Barack and Michelle Obama and particulars of Michelle Obama’s recent exorbitantly expensive trip to Spain, I am confident, that the expense of this trip is enormous and exceeds by far the most expensive governmental trip so far, made by former President Clinton and Mrs. Clinton to Far East, which cost $5 million dollars. As a tax payer and as an attorney I am appalled by such extravagant spending at a time, when over 30 million Americans are unemployed and are losing their homes, when the interest on the National debt is exceeding the budget for National Defense, when our National debt exceeds 13 trillion dollars (real fully accounted debt arguably exceeds 60 trillion) and when unfunded obligations of the federal government are exceeding 300 trillion dollars.
I demand an emergency hearing of the Judicial Committee of the House of Representatives for the purpose of investigation of suspected embezzlement of the Federal funds and need for restitution of such Federal funds to the National Treasury and prosecution of individuals, suspected of embezzlement.

And, why expose so many of the “administration” to such danger? This is a tough region. The talk to Parliament – what’s so important he has to go and make this speech in person? Apparently, the trip is primarily “focused on the future partnership that the US trying to build with India — a relationship that the US believes is indispensable to shaping the 21st century.” Also, O might be fancying himself a “Ghandi” or “MLK”? Talk-radio titan Rush Limbaugh noted yesterday that President Obama is getting out of “Dodge” – Washington, D.C. – surprisingly soon after the big showdown with the GOP.
“Maybe they’re more afraid of November it had than we thought, ’cause this trip starts, what? Two or three days after the election,” said Limbaugh. “[It’s] clear the president doesn’t want to be anywhere near the scene of the disaster.”
After discussing the massive number of people traveling with Obama to Mumbai, India, Limbaugh wondered whether the trip would be only one way.
“Basically it sounds like a government in exile. Like I said, the question to me is: ‘Are they coming back?'”
Obama’s trip to Mumbai reportedly will cost American taxpayers “a whopping $200 million per day” according the Press Trust of India.
President and Mrs. Obama are reportedly bringing along a tremendous entourage of about 3,000 people, ranging from U.S. government officials to journalists to Secret Service agents to private chefs, for a two-day visit beginning Nov. 6.
Two jumbo jets will accompany Air Force One to India, along with security planes, and the president will motor through the city in a 45-car convoy, according to the Economic Times of India.
All 570 rooms and all of the restaurants and banquet halls in the top-flight Taj Mahal Hotel have been booked for the visit, along with rooms in hotels throughout the city, reports the Times.
The U.S. reportedly has already thrown a security blanket over the city, with a Navy warship, helicopters and ground personnel from various U.S. security agencies already in place, according to the Press Trust. Mumbai has suffered repeated terrorist attacks.
The Press Trust report cites a “top official of the Maharashtra Government privy to the arrangements for the high-profile visit.”
Mumbai, known until 1995 as Bombay, is located in Maharashtra state on India’s west coast. The second largest city in the world with a population of approximately 14 million, Mumbai is known as the entertainment and commercial capital of India.
Mumbai was victimized by a major terrorist attack in November 2008. Islamic terrorists from Pakistan murdered at least 173 people and injured at least 308 in a coordinated series of shootings and bombings spread over four days.
The Maharashtra state government has reportedly requested the Indian air force and navy to step up patrolling in and around Mumbai for the duration of Obama’s visit.
Mumbai, with its deep water harbor, handles 70 percent of maritime trade in India. The city is home to numerous major financial institutions as well as Bollywood, the Indian television and movie industry.

I have it from a very good source that this is not a trip. It is the first part of a move to outsource our government to India. Why do you think they’re taking so many people AND they’re even moving some Navy ships!
People, we can’t let this go down. What’s next? Pick up the phone and call India to speak with your ‘representatives’? Everyone must write and get the word out. Obama is going to LIVING there! The White House is moving to India!

1) First, what is the source of your info?
2) 2nd, India isn’t muslim, it’s hindu! Why would Obo want to live there?
3) Orly, this is about as strange as anything I’ve ever heard! Almost like being in a “James Bond” Film…only it’s Real…! 4) And how could Obo command all those ships, with the way he’s treated the military? Who the hell would go along with this? Patriotic military wouldn’t cooperate!
5) And if this is “for real,” then, once we actually discover this is “going down,” then, Congress/Supreme court should “do the number” on this “psychotic flake” and “hold a special election,” to find another President, to get rid of this “Moon-Doggie!” 6) And have some of the elections “fraud” checked out, like Nv…with people who were supposed to have been voting and told Channel 5 in Las Vegas that they know their vote for Sharron Angle “switched” to Reid! Cause this is the only way Reid could possibley win this–by cheating!

And (I think) it was NewsMax-?-that also mentioned that they reported in an article that Obo said:…”He made it clear that he was ‘NOT’ going to run for “re-election”!!! Neat, huh? And I just saw this within the last day or two! I had not heard this before, prior to this time!

Obama’s state department to Indian officials; Show us your papers

Mr. Obama’s trip to India may not be the great diplomatic success that the administration was hoping for. Our friends in the world’s most populous democracy are getting steamed over the state department’s heavy handed tactics. High ranking officials from the state of Maharashtra were invited to an event at the Taj Mahal hotel with Mr. Obama, but were told that they would have to show their papers to get in. According to The Times of India:
Miffed by the US consulate demanding personal details like birth date, nationality and passport number, Maharashtra’s top politicians and bureaucrats have decided to pay it back in the same currency. While the home minister and the home secretary have declined to attend an event graced by President Barack Obama, four others, including chief minister Ashok Chavan and deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal, are mulling the same.
“We are shocked over the tone of the invitation letter. (US consul general Paul) Folmsbee expects Chavan and Bhujbal to produce their identity cards before entering the venue. They have been asked to submit their details like date of birth, nationality, passport and PAN to the consulate,” said a senior official on condition of anonymity. “We feel this is no way to treat the chief minister of a state. Chavan and Bhujbal are undecided on whether to attend the event.”
When consulted on the matter by a Maharashtra official, Sunil Lal, the chief protocol officer with New Delhi’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the private event was arranged by the U.S. consulate without consulting either the MEA or the state government and that “Under such circumstances, it was felt that Chavan and Bhujbal should not attend.” The final decision has been left up to the chief minister.
For an administration that has made such an issue with law enforcement officials in Arizona asking for papers, it seems awfully hypocritical for them to demand that high ranking state officials of a sovereign nation (which is graciously hosting their large entourage) to produce their papers. Will Indian customs officials be asking Mr. Obama for his papers?

Think about this; how would we like a Foreign Leader coming to visit the U.S. and bringing his own 34 warships with and parking them off of our coast? This is starting to look more like an invasion than a vacation. This is not the way to promote “Goodwill” to other countries. This is more like the bully showing his muscle and shaking down the smaller kid on the block.
I can’t help but wonder if the people of India are just a little ticked off by now.
