The House voted 209-201 Monday night to sideline a resolution introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his disastrous mishandling of the border, even as House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) greases the skids on a funding package that punts a broader border policy battle until the new year.
A video broadcast on an Iraqi television station and circulated on pro-Iranian social media Monday purported to show an Israeli-Russian researcher who was allegedly kidnapped in Iraq, the first sign of life since her disappearance nearly eight months ago. No group has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping of Elizabeth Tsurkov. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier this year that she was being held by the powerful Iran-backed Iraqi militia Kataeb Hezbollah.
The House is under new management but is operating under business as usual as it prepares to pass a continuing resolution (CR) that once again extends spending levels and policies pushed through by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in last December’s lame duck session.
Netanyahu stated that he does not want any collateral damage, however Hamas terrorists barbarically slaughtered 1200 Israelis, burned whole families alive, cut heads of the babies, cut abdomens of pregnant women, removed the babies and cut off the head of the babies in front of the mother and then killed the mother, they gang raped women so violently that they broke the pelvic bones of these women and they kidnapped 240 women and children. Israel needs to rescue the hostages and eliminate all 40,000 Hamas terrorists and wipe Hamas of the face of the Earth. I am sorry for the civilians in Gaza who elected those terrorists to run Gaza, however after 9/11 US brought war back to Afghanistan and Iraq and half a million were killed there. After Pearl Harbor US dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and 450,000 died. 8 million Germans and 3 million Japanese died in WWII, majority of them civilians and their cities were bombed into stone age. I am sorry for German and Japanese civilians, but it was not the US fault, just as losses in Gaza is not Israeli fault
