Outbreaks on ships like this are usually studied to estimate the death rate of the disease. o.1% is actually a very low death rate

Dr. Orly, you are spot on about training to use the ventilators. I heard an interview of a nurse who works using ventilators, and she said they can be tricky to use and those who use them need to be well trained. If not, the ventilators can injury or even cause death. Thank you for tweeting this message and the other messages to Pres. Trump. He is fortunate (and needs) to have good medical advice such as yours.

Sent to Trump: In NY 88% died on ventilators, while in Israel only 30% died. There needs to be a program in US to train more doctors and nurses how to properly intubate and properly work with ventilators.

The problem with some of the studies, it that the medicines were given very late in the game, when patients were severely ill. There needs to be a study with early use, will see great results. NYU professor Marc Siegel agrees with me, Covid medicine studies were done in hospitals on the sickest patients. These medicines work best when taken early. We need ambulatory (pre-hospitalization studies), I believe they will show great results
