No doubt their danger to America was a deciding factor.

“Sanctions are something we said the Congress would consider,” McCain said in a Monday interview with The Daily Beast following his two day trip to Ukraine, where he was joined by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT). “We didn’t threaten the sanctions, but we both said that sanctions would be a consideration if there was any brutality against the protesters.”

How about US supported brutality, methods deemed war crimes, against innocent civilians now in progress?
Uncut Chronicles: #Don’tKillUs

Now we have US backed indiscriminant air bombing of innocent citizens by government Nulandistan and cricket sounds from Chris Murphy?
Is this how Obama, Kerry, McCain, Nuland and CT/Dem Chris Murphy are ‘spreading democracy’?

There was NO prisoner swap. The release from Gitmo was done a FULL week before the release of Bergdahl. Here’s what happened. White finally got an agreement from Qatar to take the 5 terrorists and immediately (secretly and illegally) released them. Then, Obama made a mad rush to Afghanistan to (secretly and illegally) meet ransom demand with Haggani group to get Bergdahl. This was done so they could CLAIM to have made a prisoner swap. But these were two different groups, two different crimes, all done a week apart.
CIA station chief complained about the ransom and got outed. President Karsai refused to even meet with Obama while Obama was in Afghanistan.
Futhermore Qatar says they did not initiate the deal to take the 5 prisoners. This was done unilaterately by the White House, in secret, since they could not reveal to Congress what had happened until they had secured Bergahl’s release to use him for their cover-story.
Both the release without giving Congress 30 days notice AND the payment of ransom demand to terrorist group are ILLEGAL.
That is why White House claimed there was a swap, even though no swap occurred.
Two different groups, two different crimes, all done a week apart. It’s all a lie.
There was no prisoner swap.

Eric Cantor May Just Lose His Primary Fight With Tea Partier
House Minority Leader Eric Cantor’s (R-VA) primary fight looked much more serious than many had thought.
With 52 percent of precincts reporting 41 minutes after polls closed primary challenger David Brat was leading Cantor, 57.9 percent to 42.1 percent.
Who is Brat? He is an economics professor at Randolph-Macon College. Brat was regarded as a long shot candidate but Cantor’s campaign still spent over $1 million on advertising to stress that the top House Republican is a “strong conservative.”
Cantor’s campaign also sent out mailers arguing that he’s largely responsible for blocking immigration reform, signs, perhaps, that Brat seemed like more of a threat than he appeared publicly.
