3 dead, 3 injured in small plane crash on Hawaii’s Lanai Island

WAILUKU, Hawaii – An outbound flight from Hawaii’s Lanai Island crashed about a mile from the airport, killing three people and leaving three others injured, authorities said Thursday.

    Dear Orly,

    Survivors and deceased are named in news video.
    Two Maui County officials and the plane’s pilot were killed.
    NTSB has taken engines to Maui, no black box recorders or other recording devices found,
    500 feet long debris field.
