Does State think Texas is a foreign country?

Last weekend, the blog Stormin’s Morning Java noticed an odd claim on the State Department website.  In a list that intended to brag about how much Hillary Clinton had traveled as the new Secretary of State to foreign countries, Foggy Bottom included a trip to Texas:
I figured that this was simply a clerical error, albeit a rather stupid one by a clerk who didn’t realize that Texas wasn’t a foreign country.  Unfortunately, it turns out that State has apparently decided to give full diplomatic recognition to the Republic of Texas, helping Governor Rick Perry by mooting a need to secede first.  In their press release celebrating 100 days of the Obama administration, State continues to include travel to Texas as one of their major accomplishments:
OVERALL DEPARTMENT POLICY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, REGULATORY INITIATIVES, AND INTERAGENCY EFFORTS
In the first 100 Days of the Obama Administration, Secretary Clinton and the State Department have made significant progress in advancing America’s national security goals and promoting America’s values around the world.
Secretary Clinton is already the most traveled Secretary of State in a new Administration. The Secretary’s trips have included her inaugural trip to Asia, the Middle East and Europe, Mexico and across the border to Texas, the Hague in the Netherlands, Europe with President Obama, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago with President Obama, and to Iraq and Kuwait.
The work undertaken on these trips, the many bilateral and trilateral meetings hosted by Secretary Clinton, and the tireless efforts of others throughout the State Department have contributed to early and significant progress on the following priorities: Afghanistan/Pakistan policy, the Middle East, Iraq, Asia, Russia, North Korea, the Western Hemisphere, the climate crisis, engaging in public diplomacy, and other core issues.
Wow.  Has Hillary visited Maryland and Virginia, too?  If she visits Utah, will she bow to the Governor, or just curtsey?
Let’s also recall the “significant progress” State has made in the above areas:
  • Afghanistan – Completely failed to get more combat troops from NATO.
  • Pakistan – Say, isn’t that the Taliban just outside the capital in Islamabad?
  • Middle East – Netanyahu won’t budge until Obama does something about Iran … which conveniently got left off the list.
  • Russia – Gave a mistranslated reset button to Sergei Lavrov, who then told Hillary and Obama that they wouldn’t lift a finger to stop Iran from going nuclear.  Oh, and the US retreated from missile defense in Europe.  Smart power.
  • North Korea — North Korea? The country that just defied Obama, launched a long-range missile, and kicked out all the UN inspectors and declared a restart on all nuclear programs?  That North Korea?  It that’s “significant progress,” then I hate to see what a setback looks like.
  • Engaging in public diplomacy – Yes, like telling the Europeans that she doesn’t understand multiparty democracy, that our system is better, and Europeans didn’t have democracy before the US.  Oh, and let’s not forget getting the names of her EU counterparts wrong.  Thank goodness all that happened in public!
  • “Other core issues” — Well, they did get an iPod to the Queen, and bowed to Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah.
Given all of that, I’m wondering when Texas plans to break off diplomatic relations.

    This fake administration is so lame and inept that it’s pathetic. Every single appointee of the Usurper is incompetent, including Hillary Clinton. She’s also constitutionally ineligible for her job, just like Hussein, although for a different reason.

    It just goes to show that not one of them cares about the Constitution. They do whatever they want when they want. They are not restricted from their illegal activities by some old piece of paper.

    Well, when “We the People” have finished having their say, they’ll be paying much closer attention to that old piece of paper.

    I will pray every day for Orly and that Texas becomes it’s own country. I now have hope to find a new home away from this administration. Every day I ask myself, “Where do TRUE AMERICANS go now?” My family moved to this country to express their freedoms over 100 yrs ago. Now those freedoms are being stripped from every American. I can’t wait to move to Texas! Can’t wait to excape this tyranny! This socialist scares the crap out of me – EVERY DAY!!!!!

    Since I have been in Texas my entire life,except when in the military,I have always been proud of being in the United States of America.It was only when Philip Berg,Orly Taitz,Carl Swensson,Bob Campbell and many others gave me a wakeup call about the absolute travesty that was happening in Washington that I awoke from a deep sleep of apathy and ignorance .The fiasco that we are presently enjoying ? has had years and years to develop.We certainly will not change it overnight,but I have every confidence it will change since We the People have been apprised of the situation and have had leadership from the very people who are so gallantly struggling to make America great again.It is entirely up to us to get involved.cheers

    I have to say that I agree with George. Where do TRUE AMERICANS go now? I guess the answer to that would be that there really is no where to hide where they won’t be able to find you.

    I’m sitting here and the culmination of all the information I’ve read over the last couple of days has hit home. I’m crying for our nation and its precious people and my children. I want to have hope that all of this is going to work and bring Obama down…but it seems like he and his criminal friends are above the law…and everyone that is in a position of power is corrupt. And everything is taking toooo long….he destroys our beautiful blessed nation more with every day he’s in the White House…he can’t be out of there soon enough. Please God, let that happen!
    I read the article about the GPS monitoring of our homes for the Census..and lo and behold but someone shows up at my home out in the country. The GPS information has NOTHING to do with the Census and everything to do with Martial law.
    So, I’m here crying and praying (I do alot of that lately) and this stuff is scaring me. And I see this posting…

    Okay God, Thank You for your message! I won’t be afraid because fear is not from You! I have power through your Son Jesus and I have been given a sound mind. All that is done in secret will be revealed…and You will raise up the righteous and tear down the wicked. The righteous of this land….their prayers and work will bring Obama to his knees…and out of the White House. Truth will prevail!

    Ok…now I’m moving to Texas!!! 🙂
