Current numbers show no deal in Congress

Republicans 240 47

Congress has 435 members and  and 218 will constitute a majority. Republicans have 240 members, out of these 240, about 80 ran as Tea party Republicans, which means that if more, than 22 of them say no, there will be no deal. Boehner narrowly passed his prior bill. 22 Republicans did not vote with him, but with some members absent, he made it. Now more, than 22 are saying no deal. There are numerous reasons, why more Republicans are saying no deal.

First, the deal is nothing but a joke and cooked books. For example, the first year cuts will be only 4 billion, which represents oonly 1 day spending of the federal government. Considering the fact, that the federal government automatically raises it’s spending by 8% a year, this deal will not really cut the deficit, but will increase the deficit by some 7-8 trillion within 7 years.  Cuts to both Social Security and Medicare and defence are unacceptable. There are no real cuts to the huge bureaucracy. Most cuts are towards the end of the period, which will never happen.

At the end of the day the spending is the problem, not Moody’s credit rating, which will go down regardless of what the Congress decides, as even Moody’s considers the deal a joke.  There will be a lot of arm twisting by the old party establishment. We’ll have to wait and see, how it will unfold. It seems to me, Tea Party Republicans will do the nation good, if the say no to this joke of a deal, tell Obama and Geithner to live within their means, as everybody else does and prioritise spending . If controller of Minnesota could do it, so can Geithner. They need to vote on two bills, that will really make a difference:

1. balanced budget amendment

2. repeal of WTO-GATT, which will allow the government to assess tariffs on all imports, particularly imports from the third world countries, like China, India and Brazil, which will immediately provide a flow of investment into domestic manufacturing, immediate rise in employment, solution to massive joblessness and increased revenues, which will in turn shrink and eliminate our enormous debt.

If they do not pass these two bills, thay have no chance of succeeding and the country will continue drowning in debt and joblessness.

    Never in my life did I think that the future of our once respected & admired Nation would depend upon an arrogant, illegal, dumb, unqualified, incompetent, racist,
    un-documented, unconstitutional career criminal Taqiyya practicing Muslim! 🙁

    The entire world is laughing at us 🙁 since the serial lying punk, usurping Chicago thug community organizing drug-addict, 🙁 homosexual Marxist dimwit who promised to “fundamentally transform” America 🙁 is on the verge of succeeding 🙁 because he has the support of criminal lackey’s, i.e. spineless, corrupt, pathological smurfs in Congress 🙁 the Media 🙁 & the Courts! 🙁

    Hussein said he would continue serving if he can assure the American people that “I’ve been on their side.” SAY WHAT?? 🙁 🙁 🙁

    How can this illegitimate skunk 🙁 & the water buffalo “fashion icon” 😉 have a clue that they have NO clothes when the Media shows up with permanent [stinky] brown noses? 🙁

    Hussein 🙁 & his cadres terrorize & impose their will on the American people. How can we ALLOW that to happen? 🙁

    Congress has 535 members (100 Senators + 435 Representatives).
    Not 435.

    Name calling won’t help our cause, lets just doggedly stick to the Truth and bury them with the cold hard facts of life.

    There are going to be a bunch of republicans who vote AYE and the democrats will be the ones to pass it. They have 75 progressives who don’t want it…that leaves a whole bunch who can vote AYE

Right now what you have over there is a brainless nation of Snookie fans, Mcdonald eaters and tabloid readers who don’t even know who Biden is but if you ask them about Weiner and his package they’ll tell you all about it.

    I have just one question for the GOP, now: JUST WHEN IS THE CORONATION CEREMONY FOR OBAMA??? How much more can you sell out the American People than with the highest debt hike in American history and leaving the door open for the DemoCommies to stack the un-COnstitutional Super Congress with Liberal whackjobs who will only accept taxing the American Peoploe into oblivion in the midst of a Super Depression. This is not REPRESENTATIVE government in the Distrcit of Criminals; it is despotic elective tyranny. Only a Third TEA Party can clean this up, but to gain substantial numbers in DC, it must divorce and differentiate itself from the ignominiously despicable Grand Ol’ Propaganda Party. Approximately 70% of Americans are Independents looking for a political home. They want a legitimate Third Party, not a caucus group subject to the RINO’s who rule and own the GOP.
