Call the congressmen voting for TPA and TPP and ask if they can live on a 50 cents per hour salary?

On Friday, June 12th, there was a snag in the push for TPP (Transpacific Partnership), however Obama and mostly GOP leadership are pushing for re-vote on Tuesday.
Why is TPP so bad for the American people and for our treasury? According to TPP, all tariffs (import taxes) protecting American jobs and wages, will be dismantled. Every country of the pact will have the same voting power as the US. Among our future equal partners will be countries like Vietnam and and Malaysia where workers are paid on average only 50 cents per hour. American workers cannot survive on such wages which means that millions of American jobs will go to these third world countries leaving millions of Americans unemployed. Other US workers will see their wages going down and taxes going up in order to pay for the welfare and social needs of ones who will lose their jobs to this agreement.
Today Hillary Clinton tried to create an impression that she is against the agreement and that something should be done for the workers losing their jobs, such as retraining. This is a gimmick and will not work for a number of reasons:
1. The money for retraining is reportedly supposed to come from the Medicare fund. Currently, for every dollar going in the fund, three dollars are going out. Medicare fund is being depleted and expected to be insolvent by 2050 or earlier, unless some changes are made.
2. Federal government does not have any reserves to retrain the workers. US federal government is de facto bankrupt, facing 18 trillion debt, half of which was incurred by Obama. Additionally, US government is facing 140 trillion in unfunded obligations.
3. Even if we were to have funding for worker re-training, there are no real prospects for re-training. Blue color jobs are being outsourced to the third world countries with cheap labor.
4. If we were to attempt to retrain displaced workers for high tech jobs, this will largely fail as well. Most of the workers, who will be displaced, are blue color workers with only high school education at best, many are middle age or older workers. They do not have the education or technical skills for high tech jobs and they will have an extremely hard time acquiring such skills.
5. Even if the blue color displaced workers could learn high tech jobs, they likely will lose those jobs as our ruling oligarchy prefers to in-source cheap young workers from China and India, who are not only cheap, but also more docile, more obedient, willing to do anything for the US visas.
6. We have seen disastrous results of prior global agreements. After Clinton signed WTO-GATT and NAFTA into law, US lost 56,000 factories. At 500 workers per factory, this is a loss of 28 million US manufacturing jobs. TPP will further annihilate US job market and wages.
So, based on all of the above, we should fight TPP as hard as we possibly can.
Please, call every ember of Congress, who voted for TPA, and demand answers: can he or she make a living on a 50 cents per hour salary. If the answer is no, then they are obligated to vote “NO” on Tuesday on TAA and TPA, precursors to TPP.

Dear Orly,
As Obama works overtime to destroy America economically, and every other way, Texas has taken a stand regarding gold:

Excerpt:
Official Statement from Governor Abbott:
“Governor Greg Abbott today signed House Bill 483 (Capriglione, R-Southlake; Kolkhorst, R-Brenham) to establish a state gold bullion depository administered by the Office of the Comptroller. The law will repatriate $1 billion of gold bullion from the Federal Reserve in New York to Texas. The bullion depository will serve as the custodian, guardian and administrator of bullion that may be transferred to or otherwise acquired by the State of Texas. Governor Abbott issued the following statement:
“Today I signed HB 483 to provide a secure facility for the State of Texas, state agencies and Texas citizens to store gold bullion and other precious metals.”

Its SAD What They have Turned America Into, 3rd Class Citizens.

I just called my Senators office and my congressmans office urging them to vote against this monster. I asked if they could live on .50 cents per hour. It’s time for all good men and women to come to the aid of our country!

Well, I will try again, and will ask whether it was TAA or TPA that will give these people in Congress the (2) months needed to read this…
But most of them already know that, since this was done in secret, they should just vote NO! We can’t afford to allow the 3rd world to take America down!
And remember that O is illegal to be here anyway, so don’t even read the monstrosity; just vote NO!
