By refusing to rule on the issues of Obama’s criminal behavior in elections fraud and SS fraud, judges are violating the canons of Judicial Ethics and can be impeached by Congress together with Obama and with people who are aiding and abetting Obama

Jim

Canon 1:
A Judge Should Uphold the Integrity and Independence of the Judiciary

CANON 2:
A. Respect for Law. A judge should respect and comply with the law and should act at all times in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary.

By ignoring a report of a felony to the court, do you think that “promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary ” ? I think not. If he had referred it to the US attorneys for investigation or said in his ruling that the thought there was no basis for it, that would be fine. But by ignoring it, it erodes public confidence in the court.

Not buying it. The role of prosecutor resides in the Executive Branch of government. I still do not see where a judge is required or even encouraged to report alleged crimes to prosecutors.

You and your supporters can send everything you want to every federal and state prosecutor in the country, and perhaps several will pick up your complaints and go somewhere with them. You and your supporters have every right to petition Congress to investigate your allegations, but you have no right to get an answer or for Congressional action.

Someone on this blog stated that the Code of Judicial Erhics said that a judge must refer criminal allegations to the prosecutors. I am still waiting for the specific citation.

    Chum,

A judge is not legally required to do anything under the Code of Ethics. It is an ethical matter. An attorney is an officer of the court. If he becomes aware of a felony that has been committed, he is required by his code of ethics to report it to the proper authorities. Shouldn’t a judge be held to the same standard if not a higher one ?

This is not a question of if the judge did anything illegal. It is one of if he acted unethically. As was stated above, by not addressing the issue in his ruling – especially on such a high profile case – he undermines the public confidence in the court. That is a violation of the Code of Ethics. Therefore , he acted unethically.
