Biden seeks to disqualify Trump under 18 US 2071, this might backfire as DeSantis will become the nominee, and without the baggage, he will carry the independents and will win in 2024. This raid will backfire in more ways than one

Latest KGB-type raid on Mar a Lago is planned to disqualify Trump in 2024. Biden and AG Merick Garland are seeking to indict and convict Trump under 18 US 2071. I am sure they are still fishing for some docs relating to January 6. So, what does 18 US 2071 say?

18 U.S. Code § 2071 – Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally

(a)

Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

(b)

Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.
So, under this code Trump potentially can be disqualified from holding an office in the federal government, however this might backfire against the Democrats.  In this scenario DeSantis will become the nominee. DeSantis has no baggage, no negatives, he is more likely to carry the vote of the Independents and therefore win in 2024.
Additionally, whether Democrats are successful in convicting Trump and disqualifying him or not, rest assured, the next Republican president, be it Trump or DeSantis or anyone else, will respond in kind. So, what is your guess, what will be the next predawn raid, will it be in Biden’s home or Obama’s or Clinton’s. We all know there is a lot to search for and find in their houses.
But wait, there is more. Just recently Biden, AG Garland and the Director of the FBI chose to embarrass Trump’s economic advisor Peter Navarro and for no justifiable reason put him in shackles and handcuffs . I am wondering, who will Republicans put in shackles and handcuffs in Dem. Elite?  What do you think?

    Investigations and warrants and arrests require probable cause and judicial approval. So pure revenge isn’t an option. Plus, the AG and FBI will have been fully aware of the consequences. I don’t think this is an attempt to disqualify Trump because party leaders want Trump to run, knowing that his star is fading and he is far more likely to lose than other candidates.

    How come the DOJ is not investigating the crooked Biden family? There is more evidence of criminal activity against them than against Trump. Beware what you ask for!

    Davey, they rather have DeSantis and be done for 8 years than have Trump for four and then DeSantis for eight. If Trump runs and DeSantis is elected after Trump that’s 12 years they are out of the ripping the American Tax Payers game.

    Jerry Shaw: according to Dan Bongino, Trump risks being charged w/ Espionage Act if he releases the FBI warrant and it has a national secret(s) in it. That’s why he won’t release it, wants it released by a judge or similiar.

    Linda Starr: that’s my big worry now. The dims have literally tried everything and fail each time, with Trump coming away more popular than ever and with sympathy. The dims are running out of options and my fear is the same as Bernie Kerick’s. This raid shows that there’s nothing they won’t do and nothing they won’t get away with.
