Orly,
I was unable to attend the hearing yesterday in Columbus, GA; however I did call all four of the local affiliate television stations to express my view on how important this issue is and why they would be remiss in not reporting on the story.  I even had to give them background information because even after the Maj. Cook case, there was still journalists on staff in Columbus that were uninformed.  I wanted to let you know that the ABC affiliate WTVM did report on it in a fair and impartial manner (finally) even though it was local.  I sent a personal thank you email to not only the reporter commending her, but also to the station manager and executive producer for making it possible for her to…do her job.  What a concept.
