California Politics: Orly Taitz, Birther Queen, Secretary of State? Lawyer, dentist and real estate agent, the infamous Orly Taitz, is now seeking elected office as California’s Secretary of State. Taitz has announced her entrance into the Republican primary; she is now a candidate for California Secretary of State.
Taitz is the de facto leader of the Birthers, a right wing fringe group that believes President Obama was not born an American citizen and does not meet the Constitution’s eligibility requirements for his current position as president of the USA.
On the announcement by Taitz, one blogger posts:
Dr. Orly Taitz, ESQ, who has championed the eligibility issue of Barack Hussein Obama, has thrown her hat in the ring and entered Republican party primary for the Secretary of State of CA. If and when elected Dr. Taitz will be able to make sure all the candidates are providing genuine vital records, before they appear on the ballot.
Taitz is already attacking the eligibility of her Republican primary opponent, Damon Dunn. At this past weekend’s California Republican Assembly conference in Buena Park, she repeatedly leveled accusations against Dunn from the podium, claiming he was ineligible to be the Republican candidate because he did not meet party registration requirements.
The OC Weekly, claims the charge made by Taitz is false. Dunn is an eligible candidate

I like Dunn’s defense cited in OC Weekly.
“I was registered as Democrats by accident and almost forgot about it. So what?”
And the guy with such a bad memory and such arrogance toward the law of the land wants to be a Secretary of State?
