Why yesterday’s speech didn’t include firing of Napolitano? To make sure terrorists actually succeed?

Soon additional Quo Warranto signers will come out of the woodwork if a perusal of headlines on Drudge now is any indication.

Here is a smattering:

Ted Koppel on attempted terror attack: ‘I would classify it as an absolute triumph for al-Qaeda’…

CBSNEWS: REPORT ON FT. HOOD SHOOTING DETAILS INTELLIGENCE FAILURE…

MCCAIN: ‘Obama is leading an extreme left-wing crusade to bankrupt America’…

PAPER: Obama’s anti-terror chief remained on ski slopes…

CIA Panetta Was Also on Vacation All Last Week…

COUNT THE LIES: OBAMA VOWED 8 X TO TELEVISE HEALTHCARE…

CBSNEWS: Obama Reneges on Transparency…

There are plenty more, but Time is a wastin’ and you and your clients are to be commended for riding like Paul Revere to America’s, and hence the World’s, rescue. G-dspeed!

I would agree with Ted Koppel in that the “failed” attempt by a terrorist didn’t fail—indeed, it caused our Government to knee-jerk react as usual and our leader to vascilate as usual. The failure of the attempt was totally the result of ineptness on the part of the bomber, not at all due to anything our system did.
Obama’s first reaction to the news was the best–minimize the impact. But, as usual, he cratered to PC, and made statements that gave aid and solace to the enemy and left a failed system intact.
We MUST get this guy out of our White House now—we can’t wait for 2012. We may not live that long as a free nation!!

Ted Koppel , John McCain are both absolutely correct , this is exactly what the Obama Administration has meant by ” Change ” to destroy ” America ” to build up the Islamic terrorists , after all , it does look like Obama is a Muslim after all

and finally, it seems, there is organized opposition among elected officials at the Senate Level. The Hill (www.thehill.com) is reporting:

(Notice the LAST sentence from the snippet, which makes one wonder if the Administration DOES NOT want to unveil deeper and more sinister plots. By NOT interrogating him, there is increased cover for Al Qaeda perhaps or??)

GOP senators write Obama letter objecting to alleged bomber’s trial
By Susan Crabtree – 01/08/10 04:43 PM ET

More than 20 Republican senators wrote a letter to President Barack Obama on Friday objecting to the administration’s decision to try terror suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab in civilian courts.

The GOP senators want the 23-year-old Nigerian accused of trying to bomb a Northwest Airlines jet tried in military courts and declared an enemy combatant. By bringing Abdulmutallab before a judge and allowing him to face charges, critics say, the administration is missing an opportunity to interrogate him more thoroughly.
