2-4 million people marched on DC this year. I believe it will be at least double that number August 28 and Sept 11 next year. We need to preserve all our Constitutional rights until then.

PLANNED AMTRAK TRIP FROM E. COAST FL TO DC -BECK EVENT AUGUST, TEA PARTY SEPT

AMTRAK TRAIN TRANSPORTATION TO DC FOR 28 Aug & 11 Sept 2010 Events

 1. There are two events in DC planned in 2010: one sponsored by Glenn Beck August 28th, and the other the 2nd   yearly Event at the Capitol in September.

  As most of you know, Glenn Beck is sponsoring a rally at the Lincoln Memorial in DC on Aug 28. Tea Party and other patriotic groups have already taken action and setup Group Travel arrangements on AMTRAK for the event, similar to what we did for the massive DC Rally last September. So many Groups, in fact, that already the cheapest fares from Jacksonville have already been taken.  As you can see from the pricing Matrix below, prices can go up very quickly.

   2.  The September trip will probably be very similar to what we did last September, but I don’t know what the schedules are for the Rally itself. Notice from the matrix, that the fare prices for September are lower than the ones for August (guess a lot more people want to go to the Beck event than the regular Sept Tea Party)

   3.  I would appreciate it if you all would survey potential riders to find the most we can before the Deposit due day (December 23, 2009), because if the seats aren’t accounted for by then, I will give the unsold ones back to Amtrak.

   4. If this interests you, please  send me an email as a matter of urgency, and advise of your interest, which trip or trips you would like, and names of those going. This holds for those that want to join us from anywhere along the line, but the fare will be from either Ft. Lauderdale or Jacksonville . Anybody that wants to join us from north of Ft. Lauderdale to Jacksonville will be paying the fare from Ft. Lauderdale . We hope that, unlike last year, riders joining in between Ft. Lauderdale and Jax will not have to purchase another ticket, but their fare will be from FTL. If this is confusing, please contact me by email (act1fla@comcast.net) or phone ((TF)) 866-376-9805  or 954-431-7899 and I can provide the exact fare required. Remember, this all holds only until, December 23, after which there will probably be no more seats available. So please do not delay!

   5.   Hope to hear from you all within the next few days. If we have less than 20 riders for any of the 4 trips ( Ft. Lauderdale and JAX, for the Aug and Sept events), we will not have Group rates available for that trip.

    I wish there would be another one in the springtime — not having to wait 8 or 9 months until August 28th. The sooner the better chance we may have to force Obama to resign.

    These tea parties are good, but the focus needs to be on the eligibility issue of the fraud in the White House.
