 AS AN AMERICAN WHO IS PROUD TO SUPPORT THE TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVE  MOVEMENT, LISTED BELOW IS AN UPDATE ON OKLAHOMA. IF MORE STATES WILL CONTINUE WITH LEGISLATION SUCH AS THIS, HOPEFULLY THE FEDS  WILL LEARN SOMETHING.> 
 
An update from Oklahoma.

The state law passed today, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it  would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on  Christian values…! Guess what……….We did it anyway.

 
We recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from, unless they  want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all  scattered. Hope we didn’t send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake. Guess what……….we did it anyway..
 
Yesterday we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegals to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional. Guess what……..We did it anyway.
 
Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives.  That, for your information, makes Oklahoma and Texas the only states to do so. Guess what………More states are likely to follow. Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, both Carolina’s, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, just to name a few.  Should Mississippi act, so will Florida. Save your confederate money, it appear s the South is about to rise up once again.
 
The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns.  Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles.  I’m sure that was a set back for the Kennedys and Ms Pelosi.  Guess what……….We did it anyway. 
 
By the way, Obama does not like any of this. Guess what….who cares…were doing it anyway.

    I received this from a friend of mine who used to be in the military…..don’t know if it is true but please pass this forward and someone find out if the IMPOSTER is trying to take over the military as well as all the branches of our government…….this is very dangerous and something that can not be tolerated!!!     Military to Pledge Oath To Obama, Not Constitution …………

    Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is extremely frustrated with orders that the White House is contemplating. According to sources at the Pentagon, including all branches of the armed forces, the Obama Administration may break with a centuries-old tradition.

    A spokesman for General James Cartwright, the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, states that the Obama Administration wants to have soldiers and officers pledge a loyalty oath directly to the office of the President, and no longer to the Constitution. “The oath to the Constitution is as old as the document itself,” the spokesman said, “At no time in American history, not even in the Civil War, did the oath change or the subject of the oath differ. It has always been to the Constitution.”

    The back-and-forth between the White House and the Defense Department was expected as President George W. Bush left office. President Obama has already signed orders to close Guantanamo and to pull combat troops from Iraq. But, this, say many at the Defense Department, goes too far. “Technically, we can’t talk about it before it becomes official policy,” the spokesman continued. “However, the Defense Department, including the Secretary, will not take this laying down. Expect a fight from the bureaucracy and the brass.”

    Sources at the White House had a different point of view. In a circular distributed by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the rationale for the change was made more clear. “The President feels that the military has been too indoctrinated by the old harbingers of hate: nationalism, racism, and classism. By removing an oath to the American society, the soldiers are less likely to commit atrocities like those at Abu Ghraib.” “We expect a lot of flak over this,” the classified memo continues. “But those that would be most against it are those looking either for attention or control.”

    The time frame for the changes are unknown. However, it is more likely that the changes will be made around the July 4th holiday, in order to dampen any potential backlash. The difference in the oath will actually only be slight. The main differences will be the new phrasing. It is expected that the oath to the Constitution will be entirely phased out within two years.

    How can we get every state to realize THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. I am just a peon that noone will listen to. What does it take for EVERYONE to see what this government is up to.

    God Bless Oklahoma and their foresight to stand up to the Federal Government. Our Constitution was written for the peolle, not the federal government. It’s up to the people of the United tates to stand up and take our conrty back. We are the Greatest Country and we can’t let it be run by an unscrupulous greedy Congress.

    The sovereignty resolution, HJR-1003, although approved by BOTH chambers of the Oklahoma Legislature, was vetoed by Gov. Brad Henry the evening of 04/24/09. The Legislature could have overridden the veto with a 2/3 approval in each chamber, but it was thought that 2/3 would be difficult or impossible to obtain in the Senate.

    So on 04/29/09, the House introduced House Concurrent Resolution 1028 (HCR-1028), which is essentially the same as HJR-1003 . . . and which apparently does NOT require the signature of the governor. Best news I’ve heard in a long time! Good going, Oklahoma!

    I asked each one to sign the Petition. I think next I want to email them to push for Florida State Sovereignty!
