As you recall, I advocated for a ban on helicopter flights around civilian airports. I got a text on x from the Sec of Defense Hegseth saying that those are necessary for training but will be done with extra security. Today Sec of Transportation Duffy finally started banning those helicopter flights. He announced today that nearly all helicopter flights will be banned around Washington DC airports. The same should be done around other large airports
