McConnell will keep the vote to confirm Kavanaugh open for several hours, if necessary, for Senator Daines to get back to DC from his daughter’s wedding in MT

Tomorrow at 9am EST the senate will vote for cloture(to end the debate within 30 hours).

Confirmation of Kavanaugh is expected to start Saturday at 6pm EST. If necessary, the senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, will hold the vote open for several hours, till Sunday morning, for senator Steve Daines to arrive to DC after his daughter’s wedding in Montana.
