    Thank you, Orly, for this post.

    My dad was in the military back then, and he was one of the men that stormed Omaha Beach, on D-Day, June 6th, 1944, to rescue France!

    This was a tough fight, but my dad never wanted to talk about, later in life!

    The allies took a beating, being pinned down with machine gun firing all over the place!

    Thankfully, he made it back home, as well as one of my uncles! Who was a tail gunner in a plane!

    All of the relatives that were in WWII, made it home…so we were all thankful.
