Ryan might be leaving due to looming impeachment of Rosenstein, which Ryan opposes. Chain reaction of impeachment might be triggered if Rosenstein does not produce the docs

Posted on | April 11, 2018 | 8 Comments

Chair of the House intelligence committee, Devin Nunes, announced that if Rosenstein does not produce today the 2 page memo, which was used as a basis to appoint the Special Prosecutor, he will seek both contempt of Congress charges and impeachment of both Deputy AG Rosenstein and director of FBI Wray. For impeachment the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, would need to consent to put it to a vote in the House. So far Ryan did not agree to impeachment. This means that Nunes or any other member of the House would need to bring a motion to Vacate the Chair, meaning a vote of non-confidence in Ryan, which would trigger a new election for the new Speaker. The next in line is Kevin McCarthy. If McCarthy does not put this to a vote, it will be Stephen Scalise.

We will have to wait till the end of the day to see if Rosenstein produces the document which triggered the appointment of the Special Counsel or whether he will fail to produce, which will trigger the chain reaction of impeachment of Rosenstein and others.

Boy, is this a great predicament for Ryan…

I say: give him a “no-vote” of confidence!

    Also, Rosenstein is gone!…

    A no-brainer!

And this also shows just how far left that Ryan really is!

    And…

    This gives us hope…

As one of the top contenders for the job is Scalise…

If they can have him “bunny-hop” over the man in front of him…

So that Scalise will be a great deal more helpful to Trump…

    Go, Ryan, Go!…Really goooooooo!

I want Scalise to replace Ryan as Speaker, NOT Kevin McCarthy. When Boehner prepared to vacate the position, McCarthy was in line to step in it, but then HE STEPPED IN IT, meaning he said something (forget what not) really stupid and not very wise in front of a mic and cameras, so he dropped out of the consideration. Does anyone remember what he said?? I remember being shocked at the time. I don’t think McCarthy is very bright, literally. He seemed “slow on his feet” which was what got him in trouble.

Nunes and Co subpoenaed those docs last August!! They’re doing a terrific job BUT why did they wait 8 MONTHS to threaten contempt and impeachment??! And then they got them the next day!! They should’ve given the FBI/DoJ max of 1 month after they sent the subpoena or else they would impeach! Things move too slowly in congress! BTW, I wish they had defied Nunes and ended up impeached, but no way were they going to let that happen. Which is why I know the threat would’ve worked 8 months ago!

First bit of really good news in a long time. I’ve said all along Ryan is just one of the snakes referred to by our President on many occasions. We all know where democRATS allegiances lie, republican snakes pretend to be something they are not, the worst kind of traitor.

Am wondering if Scalise is able to “jump” the guy that no one seems to want?

Scalise was the survivor of the shooting last year…

And I think he’d do a great job to be of help to Trump…!

Jimmy Jordan is my man, he’d make a great Speaker, he would drive the libtards crazy.

All of your suggestions are excellent: Scalise, Nunes or Jordan would be great Speakers and very supportive of Pres.Trump. There’s something about McCarthy that I don’t trust to be a true Trumper ….. AND he’s my CA rep!
