Trump needs this victory now…there is no way this tax bill will be worse than what we have now, and no way a tax bill remotely as good as this one will be offered when the Democrats take over Congress because the Republicans failed.

what do you like in this bill?

Mostly, dropping the corporate tax rate to spur the economy. I also have enough confidence in Trump, based on what he has already accomplished in 10 months, to believe he will not sign a bill which hurts the economy or the middle class. Fierce opposition to anything which could help the Trump presidency is going to happen….no matter what.
And yes, someone, somewhere will not get a good deal, but IMO not passing it now would be a huge disaster and endanger the effectiveness of the rest of Trump’s presidency.
I would like to see tax simplification, which as far as I can tell this bill does not do.
But I want to see it passed.

Bob68: yeah I agree!
I don’t think that many of us have seen the info…
So we don’t know exactly what it’s all about!
But the big picture is: that we need to get things going…to help Trump stop the swampers from digging in!
