    Yes, it’s an ominous centennial. The ideology devoted to abolishing markets and private property has left a long, murderous trail of destruction and horrors: physical destruction and horrors where this ideology reigned, and poisoning of minds in the rest of the world, especially in the West.     Just some 40 years ago the prisoners of the “most free” of the “blessed” 1/6 of the world could never dream to live to see the collapse of that “paradise”. A joke circulated in those days about a hypothetical remote future of the USSR when communism would finally fall.

    A customer in a coffeehouse asks a cup of coffee and a communist paper. A waiter brings some coffee, but says that they do not have communist papers. The customer insists that he does want a communist paper. The waiter replies: I repeat it, we do not have communists papers! At that the customer says: Keep repeating it please, I beg you! Keep repeating it!

    I real story in https://kstati.net/k-100-letiyu-velikogo-oktyabrya/ recently in essence rephrased this joke. A father (an emigrant from Russia) with an ironic smile brought to the son an old soviet insignia got at a flee market, and the son attached it to his boy scout uniform. There at the boy scout meeting some older boy asked him pointing at that gilded Soviet banner: what is it?

    – A-a-a it’s from the Soviet Union…
    – What is the Soviet Union?

    That was a punch line of the story filling the soul of the father with a joy.

    However a quite serious answer to the question “What is the Soviet Union” is …

    It’s a contemporary America plus pederastization and islamization of the entire nation.
