    I go to Shakespeare in the Park every summer and I saw this show. It’s true that Caesar is made to resemble Trump, but the article is misleading. The text is performed exactly as Shakespeare wrote it but the costumes are contemporary. Historically, Shakespeare’s actors also wore contemporary clothes and there was no scenery in his theatre. The assassination is not the end of the play. It happens no more than midway through and the rest of the play deals with the consequences. By the end, all of the conspirators are dead and Caesar/Trump’s nephew becomes emperor.
