    As a Fellow and Life Member of ASCE with over 40 years of civil engineering experience under my belt, I agree that faithfully neglected infrastructure should not turn out to be a $1T jobs program gold rush.

    America is already bankrupt to begin with and we exist in a deferred Depression, me thinks.

    And we do not want to repeat Obama’s empty “shovel ready” civil payoffs programs.

    Here’s what I would recommend:

    1. America is in an emergency situation, therefore, just like in war time, it’s all hands on deck AND SCUTTLE REGULATIONS STRANGULATIONS!

    Public health, safety and welfare are paramount and anything inhibiting progress via regulation/strangulation must be pushed aside PRONTO to serve the public interests first, not the bureaucrat!

    2. Public safety is paramount at a time when America is being invaded by unvetted un-American outsiders.

    A. Cease all immigration of muslims and koran-worshippers until after the worldwide suicide of jihad, supported by the 1.3B muslim community, ceases.

    B. Arrest and deport all koran-worshippers who block America’s established public ways to prey, not pray, on public safety.

    C. Revoke and prosecute/imprison/deport any licensed professional engineer (PE) who aids and assists terrorist acts, including participation in blocking public ways, on American soil.

    Public Safety First, Pollutics Be Damned!
