Is Trump trying to win the election or return to himself $50 mln he spent in the primary

Posted on | September 5, 2016 | 16 Comments

I am greatly concerned by the fact that Trump is not spending money on TV and radio ads. Every time I switch on the TV, I see Clinton  ads attacking Trump, but no Trump ads.

Trump is doing rallies, however, rallies do more to feed his ego than to win the election. Typically, ardent supporters show up at rallies and they would vote for Trump with or without these rallies.

Trump needs to expand his base and the only way he can do it, is by running ads in swing states. So far, Trump is leading in only one small swing state of IA.

According to the average of polls, he is trailing Clinton in blue battleground states of FL, OH, PA, NM, CO, NV, NH, MI, WI and even red NC, which Romney won. While some are saying that this tactic worked in the primary, it will not work in the general election. In the primary, Trump was the only anti-globalist candidate. All of the traditional, establishment voters were divided among 16 traditional establishment candidates and that helped him win. Also, media did not attack Trump much during the primary. According to polls, Rubio and Kasich were likely to beat Clinton. This whole year Trump was behind Clinton according to polls. So, media felt that it would benefit Clinton if Trump wins the GOP primary. Now the media is in full force attacking Trump. Also, the electorate in the general election is very different than in the primary. For this reason, Trump cannot rely on adulating fans at the rallies, he needs to spend heftily on negative anti-Clinton ads in the swing states in order to win.

It was announced that Trump raised 5 mln in one day after his speech in AZ, however,  Trump spent only $ 3mln for all of his ads in all of the swing states from 09.01 to 09.06. He announced that he will spend 6 mln, but bought only 3 mln worth of ads. This is a drop in the bucket in comparison  to 1 billion that Obama spent on his elections and nearly a billion that was spent by Romney.

Trump raised $52 mln in June and 80 mln in July. Assuming he will continue raising $80 mln per month, he will raise $400 mln from the public. He announced that he will spend as much as 1 billion of his own money if need be, to win this election. So far, he spent $50 million in the primary. In the general election he bought only about 8 million worth of ads. Every Trump supporter and voter should contact Trump on twitter, facebook, by phone or directly at rallies and tell him to put his money where his mouth is, buy massive amounts of ads in swing states in order convince some 8-10%, who are still undecided to vote for him.

I hope Trump is looking to win in the general election and not return to  himself $50 million he spent in the primary.

Ever stop to think this whole election might be the billionaires vs the people?

What if it was discovered Trumps whole idea was to make it look like he was winning while actually causing her to win through means like this. Any proof? No but then that would be the brilliance of it would it not?

I think the whole DC thing is like a movie and everyone who comes along to join it gets a role to play. Before the people the pretend to be against each other (DEM or REPUB) while behind the scenes they all work together to ensure a strong bipartisan (whatever that means in their terms) rule while continuing to enrich themselves on the tax payer dime. When the economy collapses then a new order will come to the economy where taxation is automatic and much more heavy handed.

Do you believe the polls you are talking about are legitimate and unbiased, or do you think they are heavily biased and manipulated to favor Hillary?

some of them are manipulated, however the average of polls showed Romney losing by about 4% and he indeed lost by 4%. Trump needs to stop BSing and start spending money

Hillary is spending like she is using other people’s money.

Trump will spend money for the biggest effect later..

Hillary has spent 150 million and she is falling in the polls.

I refuse to believe Americans are stupid enough to elect corrupt Hillary and the constant scandals that follow the Clintons.

Trump will spend the money needed. His repeal of the estate tax alone would safe his family nearly 4 billion.

He should do more fund raising, No candidate should have to self fund a campaign – he will be President for all and we should all pitch it to fund our candidate.

Americans elected Obama, what does it tell you?

Americans did not elect Obama, the Media did.

They let him skate just like they’re allowing H to skate. No vetting H and always bashing Trump, every channal, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, #NeverTrumpers, etc., non stop 24/7 . Does anyone really believe H is ahead when she doesn’t answer press questions, ignores the people, with the exception of the elite donors, and has 200 or less people show up at her rallies? The polls are rigged. The proof is out there. Boycott Google who is helping H by keeping her health issues out of the spotlight and everything bad about Trump, true or not, upfront.

Trump has a genius IQ, knows what he’s doing, and will do what he thinks is right at the time. If you disagree, send him an email or Tweet or call Team Trump or send a letter, snail mail, to Trump Tower.

This is Trump’s election to win or lose and I seriously doubt that he spent all of that money, time away from family and business, lost a good deal of his brand and has even more to lose if he doesn’t win, because he wants to lose the election. He’s in it to win it. Keep praying for him and his family and pray he wins.

    Thank you.

Dr. Taitiz, are you sure it was the American people that elected him or rigged voting machines? There were reports of more people voting than there were adult citizens in some districts.

maybe the mCHINES WERE RIGGED. FOR THAT REASON TRUMP SHOULD BE LEADING WITH A LARGE MARGIN, AT LEAST 5% in order to overcome the rigging. For now he is behind by 3.4% in the general election and behind in the averages of crucial swing states

Trump gets free live coverage at every rally he does and he still is energizing more and more as well as cementing his base. You can’t buy that kind of coverage

People have short memories. I believe Trump is waiting until the last moment to unleash his anti Hillary advertising when it will have a maximum effect. And historically it has been shown that the only correct poll is the November election.
