Gov. Mary Fallin appeared on CNN, sounds much more positive towards Trump than Gingrich

Posted on | July 10, 2016 | 29 Comments

DOFF

I just watched an interview given by OK Gov. Mary Fallin to Jake Tapper on CNN, on “State of the Union” with Jake Tapper.

Gov. Mary Fallin is not another Sarah Pallin. Mary Fallin is much better educated, intellectual, well spoken and has much more experience in both state and national government.

Fallin served as a US congresswoman, she was a Lieutenant Governor for 8 years and now she is a two time governor. She was very positive and diplomatic towards Trump, even though Tapper tried to bait her into saying something negative about Trump.

On the contrary, Gingrich, who appeared mostly on friendly territory with Hannity, time and again was negative and criticized Trump, even though Gingrich is in direct communications with Trump and could keep his negative remarks for private conversations, not for public airing. For example, Gingrich criticized Trump for his statements on Judge Curiel and on another occasion he stated that Trump is seeking someone with knowledge of Washington as Trump has no knowledge of Washington. Even if Trump does not have knowledge of Washington, a loyal running mate or even potential running mate would not state that, would try to stay much more positive and diplomatic.

Recently, there were some ridiculous statements made about Trump, possibly picking his daughter Ivanka. This is nonsense. Ivanka is a bright and well spoken business woman, however she has zero qualifications and the ticket would look like a joke should she be picked.

Further, there is some buzz about retired Director of Defense Intelligence Agency, General Michael Flynn. This would be a very dangerous gamble for Trump and it might backfire. I understand the positives: Flynn is very strong on national security, he is very strong on war with radical Islam and he stated that he was forced into retirement after he was outspoken about the radical Islam. Another positive in favor of Flynn, is that in the summer of rage with black lives matter, people would want peace and quiet and might want someone as strong as Flynn. However, there are serious negatives. Firstly, Flynn is a life long Democrat. If Trump dies in office, we would have a Democrat as a US President. This might create disgust among GOP voters and they will stay at home and not vote. On the other hand, picking Flynn would not persuade Dems to vote for Trump, they will still vote for the Democratic party nominee, Clinton.

Additionally, some might be afraid that with a general as vice president we will be more likely to inch towards the martial law and it might turn libertarian Republicans, young Republicans and women away from Trump.

Trump should poll Trump-Flynn ticket and see how it plays out in the polls, however, it looks like a very dangerous gamble.

At the end of the day the situation is such that Trump is 2%-4%    behind Clinton. He needs a reset, a jump. Gingrich is already factored in those polls and he does not seem to help. Trump is winning with whites and with men. He needs to attract more female and minority voters. None of the male candidates he is considering will help him on this front. The only ones who can help him are female candidates.

Trump should pick a female candidate. Governor of NM, Susana Martinez, is still the top candidate as she can help Trump with female and Hispanic voters as well as the swing state of NM. Governor Mary Fallin is a great choice as well as Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn and Senator Joni Ernst. While some were saying that Ernst decided not to run, this is not the case and she might still take the job.

Trump should consider his male candidates for cabinet positions and they will be great there. Flynn might be a great Secretary of Defense, Christie a great Attorney General or Secretary of DHS, Gingrich- a Secretary of State and Pence will do well with any other cabinet position. However, all of this should be discussed after the election. Now Trump needs a reset, he needs to win, he needs to attract women and minority voter and only a female running mate can help him do that.

As always you continue to provide logical information. Does Trump read your website?

Gingrich has never been the best choice, at best, I hope it was a trial balloon to keep his real choice under wraps.

Perhaps the winning ticket would be Judge Jeanine Pirro as VP! This is my gut feeling anyway… She has it all!

I think Orly Taitz is one of the most patriotic persons I have ever followed. She should be Trump’s running mate. She has more common sense than any of them.

It is amazing that Patriot Orly, who withstood a barrage of incoming commie attacks, commie judges, and efforts to destroy her, would turn hard against Patriot Governor Palin, who withstood the same vicious attacks that Orly did. Hmmm???

It should not be about bean colors. That is exactly the division tool used to take away all our civil rights. Our economy is shut down, our borders are open etc. and that is the issue not gender bias. Just the opposite.

Pallin is a patriot, but she is not a good VP choice. Just recently she stated: in America you should speak American. In 2008 she gave an interview to Katie Couric saying that she understands Russia because she can see Russia from her window.
She simply is not intellectual enough for VP, but she is a patriot

I would much prefer Sarah Palin to just about ANY current member of the lamestream government. And you are misquoting her, Orly, in your post above. She never said she could see Russia from her house or her window. THAT WAS TINA FEY ON SNL. She said Russia can be seen from Alaska – far western Alaska. And speaking ‘American’ was her way of completing the thought with the same word which means American English, which is different from English I think we’ll all agree wont we, blokes?

Orly, you are quoting a line from a “Saturday Night Live” comedy skit spoken by their Palin impersonator, Tina Fey.

Sarah Palin herself NEVER SAID THAT.

I can’t believe, after all these years and all the columns and articles that have been written you don’t know this?

the interview is below. I personally watched it and she said it. Sorry, but she sounded not very bright. Sarah Palin is a patriot, but she is not very intellectual. She had her chance, she and McCain failed. Time for new people. We have much brighter people, who can really help Trump win the election.

we’ll have to agree to disagree on Pallin.

  16. george anderson
    July 11th, 2016 @ 2:48 pm

Yes we will have to disagree. I just rewatched that interview and Palin does NOT say that she can see Russia from her house. SHE NEVER SAID THAT. I truly do not like to be commenting this way here because I truly love and respect what you’ve been doing this past horrible 8 years. But in regards to Palin, the fact that she is NOT a Harvard trained intellectual like obama and hillary and the rest of these liars is a huge POSITIVE in my book. She is a self-made American woman who saw problems in her schools and city and state and won elections to take action on these issues and she did. She stood up to democrat AND republican good old boy types and she had an 85% approval rating as Alaska’s governor. Until the lamestream media sunk their teeth into her and went out of their way to destroy this woman while leaving the real liar and criminal, barack HUSSEIN obama totally unvetted.
The lying media did a great job destroying Sarah Palin and this can be proven by noting here that even you, Orly Taitz, were taken in by their attacks and lies. I’m saddened by this. All this said, Palin may indeed be too damaged by the media to take a role in Trump’s campaign but his campaign may already be doomed because this same media is trying to do the same thing to Donald that they did to Sarah and it’s going pretty well for them. Meanwhile, hillary skates past the media AND the FBI.
One last thing, though Trump is my candidate, you can’t tell me he sounds any smarter than Palin when he talks. Like her, he just says the right things.

Trump needs real Patriots around him.

And I remember how Brewer (AZ) and Fallin of (OK) didn’t sign certain bills that the public wanted.

And this happened at least twice or more!

Trump is tough and he does need tough people around him…and that means that he should NOT choose anyone that has made remarks about him!

And I wanted to post something about Clinton, but am having a lot of wi-fi problems at two locations today…but am on a good one for now.

But couldn’t get any CC&P going, and the post wouldn’t take on Orlys’ Site…and then, I couldn’t get on Orlys’ Site!

But it was the wi-fi back here, at 2 locations!

Some of the locations don’t like this type of topic…so I keep moving!

And the info on Hillary was that: Huffypost says that her {problems are NOT over with the emails}!!!!

    July 11th, 2016 @ 6:38 pm

I believe Palin is more than “intellectual’ enough to be VP, and would be a good one. There is a problem though, and it is the media has created a Sarah Palin that is not reality and she would be a huge target of more late night jokes and insults, and the media would devastate her. She would definitely be a negative as far as getting Trump elected. No doubt Donald Trump knows that is the case.

  19. dr_taitz@yahoo.com
    July 11th, 2016 @ 10:13 pm

Ok. Let’s say she is smart enough and I am wrong. I agree with you that the perception in the society is that she is not smart enough and it makes Trump’s life more difficult and she talked about, herself. There is also a problem of her trying to gain the support of the conservative wing of the party for McCain and she tried to sound foxy, but at the end to most she sounded sort of like a hillbilly. And that is the perception most moderates have. She also was between a rock and a hard place. She was forced to defend the bail-outs, as McCain defended them, even though the majority of Americans hated them.
Here is another question: Why do you think Sarah Palin never even responded to thousands of requests to talk about Obama’s use of bogus IDs, to expose Obama? After she lost her election she had nothing to lose, but she had perfect standing to bring a legal challenge against Obama. Why do you think she never did it?
Could it be that she wasn’t smart enough to understand the issues or was she controlled and was told not to do it, give Obama a pass on those issues?

Orly, this is the quote from your link:

“PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We— we do— it’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where— where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is— from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there.
They are right next to— to our state.”

“They are right next to our state” [Palin’s words] is NOT the same as saying ‘I can see Russian from my house’ – or window [Tina Fey’s words].

Surely, hopefully, now you see the difference?

Sarah Palin never said what you (and many on the Left!) claim she said.

The YouTube interview you provided doesn’t have her saying it either.
She does say (in part 2) that Alaska and Russia “share a narrow maritime border” with each other — which is true.

Consult any map showing the proximity of Russia with western Alaska, and you can see she is absolutely correct. They are right next to each other.

    —
It’s not entirely fair using her 2007-8 inexperience in national politics, as though she is the same person today in 2016.

Trump needs to be VERY careful who he picks for VP, it could be the globalists in-direct way to finally get ‘their’ president after all. They succeeded removing JFK and his brother.

I don’t trust Newt or Christi getting too close to the office of the president (but not quite there yet, Newt was the first Speaker to be disciplined for an ethics violation), Gingrich and Christi are globalists and a long entrenched Washington insiders, I believe it would be ‘very’ dangerous to Trump to have either as VP. Sessions already caved on important issues:

The idea is to stay away from any and all V.P. choices that are evenly, remotely associated with the NWO!

That means that the one candidate for Trump is Mr Jeff Sessions, who would not only support him, but he has years of working with bills in Congress that will help Trump get these bills through, as long as it’s a (R) President, (R) House and a (R) Senate!

FTS: Joni Ernst has proved herself to be a sellout and a fraud. As soon as she got elected she threw in with the RINO establishment.

Those quotes are from her tea party pre-election days. It was all b.s.

The videos, like her speeches, were intended to fool the tea party into supporting her. They did.

Anyway why are you still touting Joni Ernst? She has already declined to be Trump’s VP.
