Trump needs to test prospective VPs

Posted on | May 11, 2016 | 22 Comments

Reportedly, Trump is considering five or six potential VPs.

The best way to make the decision is not only by reviewing the background info, but also by asking these potential VPs to appear as supporters at rallies, town-hall meetings and TV interviews and panel discussions. Those appearances can be rated by different audiences, by test groups and by media responses.

For example, aside from Senator Sessions and former speaker Gingrich, Trump is reportedly considering three women: Governor of OK Mary Fallin, Senator Joni Ernst of IA and former Governor of AZ, Jan Brewer.

Voters and national media might respond better to younger, attractive Ernst and Fallin than to older Brewer. On the other hand, we do not know how knowledgeable and intellectual and inspiring Fallin and Ernst are. The next two and a half months will give us an opportunity to see them and hear them and assess how good they are and how likely they are to add value to the ticket.

I agree with Orly post but would like to add some comments. The latest is Trump has 7-8 VP candidates with one being non political [IMO Carson]. There is no perfect candidate, they all have flaws, and Trump would need trust, loyalty, comfort zone, and similar agenda.
    My list [in any order]
    1] Gingrich…should be an advisor/possible 4 year VP/age problem
2] Sessions… can help with legislation/trust, inner circle, age problem
3] Christie… inner circle, loyal, has some RINO, could be attorney general
4] Huckabee… daughter works for campaign, did not endorse, could help, possible advisor
5] Palin… endorsed Trump early, loyal, inner circle, similar agenda, can rally peeps, on short list
6] Fallin… credentials, never met Trump, needs vetted, long shot possibility
7] Brewer… helped in Arizona, supports Donald, Trump being polite, too old
8] Carson…non political, has following, better choice for cabinet/advisor

Roger Stone says Trump to make daring, outside the box VP pick!!! Perhaps Palin? Carson? Fallin?
Peeps need to think in terms of convention night with singers singing, bands playing, and Trump saying “the envelope please”…after a long drum roll, out walks ??????????????????????

Fallin would be considered outside the box, as a few others?

    Palin BLASTS ryanbag
    Sarah Palin

Trump has a pow-wow with unsupportive GOPe House leader Paul Ryan today. Anticipate Ryan, after following crucifiers of our conservative frontrunner and all of his early supporters, to now position himself as the leader of those politico wussies to the cool kids’ table. Typical politics. Makes me ill. DJT can’t capitulate.

The holier-than-thou GOPe that sees elections as merely a money-making business has stomped all over We the People for the last time. They got us into the mess we’re in with their failed, capitulating agenda that’s gone along with Obama’s fundamental transformation of America that includes devastating debt increase, deadly open borders, failed foreign nation building, exporting jobs, dividing the country, and quashing American exceptionalism… while laughing all the way to their personal bank accounts.

Today, Trump can not cede any victorious ground to the losers who got us into the mess we’re in. And he won’t. He’ll own the meeting like a boss. Can’t wait

Jan Brewer?! That very Brewer which vetoed the legislation requiring to vet 2012 presidential candidates and thus ENABLING RE-ELECTION of the impostor and UFO (Unidentified Foreign Operative) Obama again?! Brewer must be hung along with some more 700 high criminals which had conspired to shred the Constitution and deem this nation illegal null and void!

I agree about choosing Palin! How could Trump say NO? Sarah took out ryan while everybody else twiddles their whatevers. She has known Trump for years and Trump even uses some of Sarah’s stuff campaigning. Sarah Palin is out of the box choice and would be tremendous walking out on stage at the convention! The commies watching would keel over and many scumbag vots lost!

    Well, I’ll be damned…

Alexander has turned his sights on the people that deserve to be crucified!

Good for you, Gofy! It’s about time! And you are right…

Brewer is not anyone’s choice! She kept messing up when Az needed her to nuke the right people!

My first choice is still Sessions…

He has so many positives to help Trump, that he is in better health than Cheney was when he was V.P.!

    So I say: Sessions, Trumper!

He has all the right attributes to be a great deal of help to you…age doesn’t matter, if the person has good health!

  18. Davey Crockett
    May 12th, 2016 @ 2:28 pm

And if necessary, the 2nd choice has to be someone who is completely {TRUSTWORTHY!} not only to you…but to America…and is not a Rino, lefty, nor any NWO type!

This choice is extremely important to America’s future!

    Senator Jeff Sessions, first choice.
    Mike Huckabee, second choice.
    Michelle Bachmann, third choice.

  21. dr_taitz@yahoo.com

I still prefer Condi Rice or Steve Forbes (VP).

Honest. Sessions for Cabinet or SCOTUS.
