| veritas | Cruz’s father went to Canada in 1969 and became a Canadian citizen in 1973. However, Canadian law says one must reside in Canada SIX years from the time of permanent residency to become a Canadian citizen.
So what gives? |

Maybe he got an exemption with his Wife because their programing/engineering discipline was needed in the Oil Industry and they were both Canadian Citizens when Ted was born. Maybe that is why we have never seen the Consular Report Birth Abroad or Teddy’s Naturalization Document.

Cruz insists that being born of an American mother anywhere in the world gives the baby automatic citizenship.
That law to which he refers is the
1790 Naturalization Act.
It was repealed in 1795.
He was warned about running for Senate as a CANADIAN CITIZEN.
Perhaps he is NOT EVEN a LEGITIMATE SENATOR.
