Latest Zogby poll: In general election 77% of Republicans will vote for Trump. Also, Trump leads Clinton among independent voters: 41%-38%

Democrats support Clinton 84%-8%, while Trump is on his way to solidifying Republican support (77%-13%). Trump holds an insignificant lead among independents – 41%-38%, with 21% undecided.

If not for the constant attacks of the GOP establishment, the remaining 13% of the gOP voters would have lined up behind Trump long time ago. At any rate, I am sure these remaining 13% of the GOP voters will vote for Trump on the election day. This, coupled with his lead among the independent voter,s will give him the presidency.

Funny that the latest Fox poll being touted on that channel in which Hillary beats Trump does NOT TELL the viewer HOW MANY REGISTERED voters were polled and whether it is based on a popular vote concept or was devised to illustrate electoral college realities. Disappointing.

Readers, listeners, viewers are better informed today about polling, etc, and the media OWES IT TO citizens to not take numbers on a poll and expound on them without FIRST explaining the methodology.
When they do NOT do this, newscasters and commentators have an unfair advantage; they can purposefully befuddle the masses in any direction the management orders them to do.
“Likely voters” is more impressive than “registered voters,” and popular vote is of little use in a system based on, THANKFULLY, an electoral college.
