Where is this coming from?
Allah is God of Islam. Everything about this God is written up in the Islam Trilogy: Koran, Sira, Hadith.
Koran is about 14% pronouncements of Allah, and about 86% about its Prophet Mohammed.
Sira: life of Mohammed.
Hadith: Actions of Mohammed.
Koran is relatively small text. The other 2 are very large texts—hundreds of pages.
Fundamentally these texts display the life Mohammed for emulation by the followers of Islam.
The trilogy says that when Mohammed got into his forties he has begun to meditate. That was in Mecca. He got some experiences recorded in Sira and Hadith.
Several of these experiences were hearing a messenger Gabriel. This is the same messenger Jewish and Christian Prophets have heard. It is the position of the trilogy that Islam, Judaism, and Christianity refer to the same God, but Jews and Christian got it wrong by not recognizing the prophet Mohammed.
Islam regards only Mohammed is right about this God. That is Jews and Christians are not correctly recording history in their books.

There were many religions in the area at the time of Mohammed. Until Mohammed got his meditation experiences in his 40s there were no mention of Allah. When Mohammed attempted to introduce Allah to his neighbors in Mecca, where he got his meditation experiences, no one was interested in acknowledging God Allah.
Muslim world has emerged only after Mohammed immigrated to Medina, and introduced Jihad there to force his neighbors to convert to Islam and become Muslims, or to be killed, or leave the area. 3 Jewish tribes where destroyed. 800 Jews of the largest tribe has been beheaded in one day under Mohammed and his ( 9 years old) wife observation.
After subjugating Medina (100 miles away North from Mecca). Then Mohammed has returned to Mecca and repeated Jihad in Mecca.
Muslim world has only one god—Allah. There are no pagan gods in Muslim world.
The Arab World may have had many pagan Gods. But Allah was introduced by Mohammed. There was no Allah before Mohammed introduced Allah according to the Trilogy. I do not claim that I know anything beyond the Trilogy of Islam.
But when you speak about Allah being one of 275 to 280 pagan gods, what is your source? What is the location you speak about: Mecca, or Medina, or other? What is the time frame with respect to Mohammed’s life?
Mohammed was definitely familiar with something with the events before him and around him. But Allah appears to refer to Jewish God Yahwe and that of Christianity. Mohammed has lived in 12th Century. Can at this time this God be called pagan God?

Islam trilogy books claim that Allah is the same God as that of Jews and of Christians. The Islam’s Trilogy books tell what to do with Jews and Christians. Also the books quotes Allah as saying what to do to other non-believers in Allah. This looks to be contradictory, since Allah is claimed to be the same God Jews and Christians believe in. But Islam requires for its followers to also believe that Mohammed is Allah’s Prophet. The Islam followers must follow Mohammed’s actions and life patterns as they are given in the trilogy. Jews and Christians are not doing that. This is why Jews and Christians are considered to be non-believes in Islam.

I think this question is pointless. Poster #10 noted that the area had hundreds of (pagan) religions in the area. Why do you wish to state that some of these religions (or Perhaps Judaism or Christianity) are better than the other religions in this area (Arabia in 6th AD? How could you know that?
Mohammed has already done the religions discrimination part for you. He has opened Jihad on all non-believers in Islam. He has brought up a number of choices to non-believers. Either convert to Islam, or be killed, or get moved to another area to live in, or (later) accept 2nd class citizenship in a Islamic Caliphate with extra tax, possibly subject to an attack by mob, and 2nd class and derogatory treatments in courts.
This is how Islam and Mohammed resolve religious discrimination your question implies.

What are you talking about?
If it is Islam, it is all written about in the Trilogy Koran, Sira, Hadith. This is as much organized and spelled out with all practices and rituals as it is in Judaism, Christianity or any other spiritual system such as Hindu or Buddism. 1.5 billion people follow Islam.
If you are not talking about Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, the religious rituals and background are spelled out well too. Otherwise, it is not possible to follow and execute rituals.

According to Islam, Iran is obligated to deceive non-believers.
Part of Jihad is capturing a US Navy Boat with 10 sailors. It is a Jihad intimidation tactic.
WH and State Department uses silence and misinformation about the nature of this incident putting US Navy in an awkward position.
This is all has happened during working on a Treaty with Iran and expecting to receive the $150 billion from US.
Iran is likely to consider this money a tax that US is willing to pay a country of Islam, Iran, for the purpose of Iran executing Jihad on US.
Iran is fine with the above. Why is the US State Secretary Kerry fine with it? Does Kerry know about Islam Trilogy? Kerry probably knows about the Trilogy and Jihad. He probably means well for Iran as well as Mr. Obama does, and Valery Jarret too.

2ndly, allah can’t be the real God of the Christian Bible, since this God wouldn’t say or ask us to go Jhad on anyone!
Why do you have to explain things in such a long version?
Civlized people nowadays would say that the trilogy discusses barbarism, with jhad towards others, that are non-muslim!
