The new CBS poll is with Trump and Carson very close with Trump still on top raises some questions.

(This Poll included some people who were NOT REGISTERED VOTERS. It did not ask for LIKELY VOTERS: This poll was conducted by telephone October 4-8, 2015 among a random sample of 1,251 adults nationwide, including 1,038 registered voters)

The data have been weighted to reflect

U.S. Census figures on demographic variables.

(NOTE: Wouldn’t this include millions of ILLEGAL aliens in the nation?)

The error due to sampling for results based on the entire sample could be plus or minus three percentage points.

The error for subgroups may be higher and is available by request. The margin of error includes the effects of standard weighting procedures which

    enlarge sampling error slightly.

The margin of error for the sample of 419 Republican primary voters is

    5 percentage points.
