    I lived in Germany for a very long time, both before and after the wall came down. Before the wall came down, every Saturday, people would go out and clean their steps and sidewalks, the place was very proud and clean. After the wall came down, an influx of “refugee” (i.e. invaders) gypsy’s were accepted into the country. Parking lots were taken over by groups and had laundry strewn between light poles. The economy went South, litter was everywhere, and nobody wanted to ‘offend’ the refugees. It sounds like Germany has again lost their spine…
