    I’m certainly no fan of Carl Rove, but this story is totally untrue. I saw the program that prompted this post, and that is not what he said at all. He said that the only way to get rid of all gun violence would be to remove all the guns, but that would never happen, nor should it. When things are posted that are not true, it discredits other posts by the individual.

    linda thats exactly what it means to remove all guns.. different wording but still haveing to remove the second amnedment to impliment it..

    and let me say i am a law abiding citizen but the first govt official who comes demanding my guns had bett have made his peace with god

    Will – All I’m Saying is that Rove DID NOT DEMAND REPEAL OF THE 2nd AMENDMENT. He only stated, what is undeniably true, that the only way to eliminate gun violence is to remove all guns. He ALSO said that would never happen, nor should it happen. Please stop putting words into his mouth that he didn’t say – he NEVER advocated that guns be removed, and NEVER advocated repeal of the 2nd Amendment. Stating that “the only way to get rid of gun violence is to remove all guns” IS NOT A DEMAND THAT GUNS BE REMOVED OR AN OPINION THAT THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED, anymore than saying “the only way I can become a millionnaire is to kill my husband and collect the insurance” means that I’m going to commit a murder! FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE!!! There’s enough problems with Rove without putting words into his mouth that he never said or opined.
