latest CNN poll: Walker, Paul and Rubio are in dead heat with Clinton. Bush is behind. Walker should recruit Governor Susanna Martinez of NM for VP candidate to bring to the table Hispanic and Women’s votes and beat Clinton

Posted on | June 2, 2015 | 13 Comments

“In general election match-ups, Clinton now runs about even with Rand Paul, Scott Walker and Marco Rubio, while she continues to top Bush and Ted Cruz by a significant margin.

As noted above, those shifts stem largely from a change among independents, though Republicans appear to be solidifying their support for GOP candidates while Democrats are slightly less certain about Clinton.

One feature of the race that has held even as the numbers shifted: These match-ups prompt enormous gender gaps. According to the poll, the gender gaps remain over 20 points in each of the five match-ups tested, including a whopping 34-point gender gap in Clinton’s match-up with Scott Walker.

Her declining support in those general election match-ups, alongside falling favorability ratings and worsening impressions of her, suggests recent news about her actions as secretary of state may have taken a toll.”

I believe it would be a mistake for a candidate to favor any particular group.

We are past the days when the VP candidate made a lot of difference. If the GOP is going to get the female and hispanic votes, they will have to get them at the top of the ticket.

no Mona or whatever your real name is, you are saying this because you are a Democrat and do not want GOP candidate to take votes from Hillary and her VP, who is widely expected to be a Hispanic former mayer of San Antonio, Julian Castro.

Why would anyone think that lil runt castro would get more than a few idiot votes? It is about what a candidate says that will get votes, not communist skin color or abhorrant sexual ways of a soetoro.

The block of voters to go after is not the hispanic/latino illegals but the reagan democrats. These were moderate voters who had their party hijacked by the communists. Sarah Palin has mentioned these voters, she knows what to do.

Do you know if Martinez in constitutionally qualified? Is she a Natural Born Citizen?

I like Walker, but I will not vote for him if he ignores the Constitution with his VP pick.

Also, I am tired of the entire quota system for candidates. We gotta have a Hispanic, a woman, whatever…..maybe Brucie Jenner will be someone’s VP?
