Ted Cruz standing up for the constitution??
Sure sounds like a lot of bull. He certainly is well educated and supposedly argued cases before the Supreme Court.
Why is he running for President? If anyone as well versed in he Constitution cannot read the Presidential clause and understand it as Ted Cruz then we are all in TROUBLE.
Clause 5: Qualifications for office
Beginning of the clause in the 1787 document
Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution sets forth the eligibility requirements for serving as president of the United States:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

By the time of their inauguration, the President and Vice President must be:
natural born citizens at least 35 years old inhabitants of the United States for at least fourteen years.
Well, Ted Cruz what part of the presidential Clause do you not understand. Someone who was alive at time of adoption of the
Constitution in 1787 and declared a citizen of the United States due to this fact is most certainly dead now. He obviously did not live long after 1887 and probably died long before
1887.
