  • Russian media reported explosions in Kiev and Odessa. This comes on the heels of renewed heavy fighting in Eastern Ukraine and Russia’s decision to cut Ukraine completely as a middle man for supplies of Russian oil and gas to Europe. After taking over the important Crimean peninsula and coal, coke and steel making region of Donbass, Putin left Ukraine bare, with no natural resources and, currently, not even a status of  a middle man for gas and oil supplies. George Soros, who was instrumental in precipitating Maidan revolution, and who is heavily invested in Ukraine, recently sought 50 billion from the IMF for aid in Ukraine. Ultimately, this aid will fall on the shoulders of the US and EU tax payers. The winners will be a few oligarchs like Soros and well connected politicians, who get sizable kick-backs, such as the son of Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, who is a multi-millionaire lobbyist and who was placed on the board of the largest Ukrainian corporations. No doubt, his position came with strings attached, namely, funneling our tax payer dollars.
