200,000 more people voted for Republicans than Democrats in LA multi- candidate primary . If this margin holds during run-off in January, Mary Landrieu may lose by double digits margin. Total number of Republicans in the US Senate is expected to reach 54, or 9 seats pick up

More likely 55. I expect one of the independents to caucus with the Republicans (in order to get a committee leadership).

It was 1835 in the town of Gonzales where a Texan battle cry began that would become a slogan for Native Texans throughout history. A group of Texan Militia refused to give up their cannon and the term “Come and Take It” was coined. 180 years later descendants of the Lone Star State went to the polls to voice their concern over an out of control Tyrranical Federal Govt. the Texan battle cry could be heard all across the state as went out in mass to once again say to Obama “Come and Take It.” The rallying cry resulted in a massacre of Democrats (Communists) from the Governors Mansion all the way down to local officials. The legend lives on!

Even if the Independents caucus with the GOP (which they won’t), McConnell won’t have the 60 votes needed for cloture. Looks like he’s going to have to work with the Democrats so as to avoid filibusters.

Atlanta Braves, your thinking is skewed. No, he doesn’t need to work with the Communists. In order to keep from being hammered and ousted like their buddies In 2016, they need to go along with his proposals. You never learn from experience do you?
