Yes, sir-ee. This compares to a stellar 53% on June 3rd. There are 82 counties in MS and the Hinds vote in the 6/24/14 run-off was 6.6% of all the votes cast in the run-off. In non-precise math, 100% divided by 6.6 = about 15. In other words, 15 counties would represent about 100% of the vote. (6.6 X 15 = 99%). Now, 82 counties – 15 = 67 counties (roughly) that didn’t have a single voter. (87 -15 = 67).

I don’t believe Brian Fedorka’s math and reasoning is correct.
According to this website, there are NO counties that show ZERO votes. Some counties have more population and more votes.

Sandy, wouldn’t you need to see the results of past primaries to know that?

Harrison County, MS:
In 2008, Cochran received a total of 4115 votes in the Repub primaries with no one opposing him.
In 2014, Cochran received 13,113 votes and his opponent received 9480 votes.
I’d say it is highly suspicious that 22,593 people voted in 2014 when only 4115 voted in 2008.
Sandy posted a link to the primary results from this yr. Here is a link to the primary results from 2008. https://www.sos.state.ms.us/elections/2008/Primary/Republican/Harrison.pdf

McDaniel’s speech inspired a nation. Cochran’s speech was a disconnected formality.

Error: “67” Fact remains, but last line of post should read: 82-15=67, not 87-15=67.
Sandy Beach, this is hypothetical, using the Hinds statistics for the run-off. Of course, ALL counties had voters and participated in the election. However, Hinds alone had 6.6% of the 82 county final vote tally. And what may I ask is your real name?
