FRESNO FORWARD Primary Voter Guide

The following is FRESNO FORWARD’s official voter guide for the California June 3, 2014 primary. No recommendation was given where candidates are running unopposed.

FEDERAL


UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 4: Tom McClintock (R)
Incumbent with an extremely good freedom oriented voting record.


UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 16: Job Melton (D)
Will vote 100% how his constituents want him to vote with innovative software idea.


UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 21: David Valadao (R)
His voting record is more statist than not, but unfortunately his challengers would probably be worse.


UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 22: John Catano (R)
Like Melton, will vote 100% how his constituents want him to vote with innovative software idea.

STATE


GOVERNOR: Tim Donnelly (R)
Freedom oriented candidate that would really shake things up.


LT. GOVERNOR: George Yang (R)
Endorsed by Donnelly, a political outsider that is ideologically pro-liberty.


SECRETARY OF STATE: Dan Schnur (I)
Has track record of busting corrupt politicians.


STATE TREASURER: Ellen Brown (G)
Very knowledgeable about the private Federal Reserve System and potential reform.


STATE CONTROLLER: Laura Wells (G)
Supports a ‘state bank’ like what North Dakota has — a state whose budget is in the black.


STATE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION: Lydia Gutierrez (R)
The only candidate opposed to Common Core.


INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: Ted Gaines (R)
Filed lawsuit against Covered California (Obamacare) for canceled policies.


ATTORNEY GENERAL: Orly Taitz (I)
Has stood up to Barack Obama in countless lawsuits.


STATE SENATE DISTRICT 14: Andy Vidak (R)
Helps provide some needed balance to a lopsided Sacramento.

    I do not know much about all the other candidate on the ballot, you need to do your own research on other candidates and make your own decision, I am only showing the public the voter guide by an independent organization where I was endorsed

    thanks Orly. It is my hopes everyone goes over every candidate with a fine tooth comb. Trust is a hard thing to find right now,and something you don’t find with politicians.Their endorsement of you speaks volumes. I feel you will take this with no problem at all.

    Let me rephrase,#1-you are not a politician yet.#2- I am honored they endorsed you.#3-from what I hear and see you will win Ca Attorney General easy.#4-I have been with you from the beginning.#5 The State of Jefferson has few to none on “obots” #6-if I was being sarcastic,you would know it.#7-you have my vote and are forgiven.

    Tina is definitely not an obot critter.
    I have read her supportive comments on
    Stand Up America web site. She is
    really one of us. In fact, she and
    I have exchanged comments, I believe,
    on Vallely’s web site, but I used my
    middle name there.

    He is right.. you do look well-rested,
    sort of dreamy-eyed, and as if you
    are gazing at the Heavens for strength.

    You really are one underestimated lady.

    Orly: It looks like you may have the inside track to this AG position…but…(and I hate to bring this up) remember how all the votes for you in the last election disappeared?

    But I honestly hope you win this…no one else deserves it!
