State Department Abandons American Toddler Imprisoned in Sudan

Martin Wani, a 20-month-old American boy, is suffering in prison as his mother is shackled on death row in Sudan because she is a Christian.

Martin is a U.S. citizen, but the U.S. State Department refuses to even acknowledge this fact – It’s an unbelievable outrage on top of an already devastating situation.

Martin’s father, Daniel Wani, Meriam’s husband, is an American Christian.

There is a petition/letter in support of this woman, Meriam Ibrahim,(Ishag) at
    https://beheardproject.com/meriam#sign

If we don’t act, she will die and her American children will be turned over to radical Islamists.

This woman is in a very desperate situation. If you can spare a few moments to sign the petition I know it will be appreciated. Over 225,000 have already signed. Prayer and public pressure on Sudan are urgently needed. Tomorrow (Saturday, May 24) is the last day to sign before the letter is sent to Sudan.

There is still time to add your name to a letter that The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) will be delivering to the government of Sudan. Click on “SIGN Our Petition” in the upper right corner on the home page at: http://www.aclj.org

At this moment, there are 225,670 signatures. There are so many people signing it today that you can watch the numbers rise. More support is needed!

ACLJ’s statement: “A judge in Sudan has sentenced Meriam Ibrahim to be tortured and executed.
Her only crime? Her Christian faith. Born to a Christian mother and a Muslim father who abandoned her, Meriam was raised Christian, but the government of Sudan does not recognize her faith. To Sudan, she is Muslim because her father was Muslim. Her Christianity makes her an apostate, a criminal.

The Sudanese judge gave her three days to recant her faith – to reject her Christian beliefs. She refused.
Meriam is pregnant, and her husband is an American citizen. After she gives birth, Sudan will punish her with 100 lashes, then kill her.

Time is of the essence. Add your name to the letter we’ll deliver to the government of Sudan. Be Heard for Meriam.”

With all that the (D)’s have been doing, I think they will lose the Senate this next election!

They’re digging their own political party graves!
