I received 1 video and some 7 pictures from this OAS (operation American Spring) organized by Col Riley. While Sharon Rondeau and  bitherreport posted articles claiming that there were several thousand people, so far all available pictures and video showed a maximum of 47 people. We need a different organization of the events.  Also, there is a concern that it might hurt other events.  Syndicated talk show host Michael Savage interviewed Col Riley believing that 1 million people will be in DC and possibly 10 million people. Now Michael Savage will look like a fool and he will have nothing to do with anyone who had anything to do with organizing this event and providing information to him.  It is better to tell: I do not have numbers and I do not know how many people will show up, than claim that 10 million people will show up and then only 47 people are there. (at least so far we saw only 47 people).  It is not good to promise people what you can’t deliver.

I am calling on everyone , who is a part of this movement, to get together, maybe on a conference call or Skype and plan in advance an event at a time and place when we know there will be people there, such as 4th of July, Memorial day, Veterans day. We need sponsors, who will pay for buses to bring people to the event, just as Glenn Beck had sponsors who paid for buses for his event, or we need a location, where we know we can get a lot of people without paying for buses, such as Alamo in TX   or a football or baseball game with a team from a conservative state or near a large military base, where we know people will participate. Another option is to find  a specific issue, such as we saw in Bunkerville, NV or when police academy in OK protested against lawless Eric Holder and succeeded in having him cancel his trip to give a graduation speech.  I am asking people not to repeat the same mistakes, not to pull a date out of  a hat and then expect millions of people  to appear on that date. Please, let’s plan it properly first and only after planning let’s announce a date.

    I arrived there on Friday late due to heavy rain and missing a turn and lost about an hour. When I arrived I walked around the National Mall and talked to some people that were carrying some signs still I met a man from Indiana, a woman from Texas and another man from Georgia. They said there were about 300-400 people there earlier. They said they were meeting there Saturday morning at 8:00 AM. We met at the Washington Monument and I would guess when it first started there were at least 700 people and more came within the next hour and a half. Most of us marched to the Whitehouse starting at 12:30. There were people from all over the country. The march was very organized with security guards blocking intersections while we crossed. At one intersection there was a woman blowing her horn and wouldn’t stop and got out of her car and started yelling at one of the guards. I saw that but didn’t see the guard told me as we regrouped a while later that she got back in her car in hit him with it. He called the police and filed a report and the woman was identified and charged with vehicular assault and he also said that the woman called him some racist remarks(she was black) and he also file hate crime charges on her and the police gave him a copy of the report. He was from San Diego, CA. I was looking for information on where everyone was supposed to meet on Thursday, 5/15 and there was no meeting place listed. Colonel Riley did make some very good speeches to the crowd and needs more advertisement getting the message out. This was only the beginning. One of the speakers said there were many emails of people saying “we are there with you in the spirit” but unfortunately that is not good enough. If this is going to work more people have to show up. I’ll be watching and I will go back hopefully next weekend also. Get the message out. The only way to get rid of all these laws(Obamacare for one) attacking and stealing freedoms that Obama has signed into law is to prove that he is not legal to be president and everything he signed into law will be null and void. Impeaching him won’t undo what this usurper has done, I don’t believe. We need to get more people and get together to get more media attention.

    so, you are saying that there were 300-400 people on Friday and 700 on Saturday? Do you have any pictures or video? Even if these numbers are correct, it is significantly less than 3,000 reported by Sharon Rondeau and, of course, a drop in the bucket in comparison to 10 million promised by Col Riley

    The problem with OAS is that they went to the single purported seat of power – the thugocracy in Washingon D.C.

    But the true ‘seats of power’ are in the People – at the City, Town, County, Territory and State levels – as delineated by the Constitution that all public servants are sworn to uphold.

    Operation American Spring should now evolve into Operation American Summer – where the People gather on a prominent day in front of every City Council Chamber, every County Commission Chamber, every State and Territory Capital Meeting Hall/Chamber, and the Capital of the U.S. in D.C (Congress, SCOTUS, & the White House) …

    with SIGNS / SPEECHES / Letters of Demand to all ‘Public Servants / Appeals to all sworn ‘oathtakers’: all Judges, all Police, all Military, etc., to uphold their oaths and remove the criminals from their positions of ‘authority and power’!

    Let the organizing begin anew – for Operation American Summer.
