It’s a different world today. Social media is a critical marketing tool – and people expect to be notified of events like this through Twitter and FaceBook, etc. I’m sure Col. Riley is a great patriot and means well – but he does not understand that his marketing ideas are old-fashioned and outdated. If an event like this ever hopes to be successful, it will require the use of sophisticated planning, marketing and execution. The days of hoping an event like this will just take care of itself based on the good intentions of people are over. Of course, I’m not sure what difference it would have made if there had been “millions” of people there for this event? The problems we face as a nation are not going to be solved through demonstrations or discussions. It’s beyond that now – evil is firmly entrenched and it is going to require a physical fight to unseat it. Orly is engaged in the physical battle – rubber meets road kind of thing. This is what we need – and folks, make no mistake – if Orly is not ultimately successful, you can be 100% GUARANTEED that civil war is in our future. I don’t know why more people do not grasp this? People today seem to think things happen by magic or that fairies do all the hard work at night while we sleep? Sad. |
