The “Birther Issue” is STILL on America’s mind.

But suspicious sentiments about Mr. Obama’s birthplace still linger, even swaying public opinion about where he should site his presidential library when the time comes. And a surprising two thirds of GOP respondents admit they still have doubts.

Just the numbers then, from a new YouGov/Economist poll of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted Feb. 8-10.

70 percent of Americans say a presidential candidate should produce their birth certificate before appearing on a ballot.

67 percent of Americans say people who think President Obama was born outside the U.S.really just “don’t like the President.”

33 percent of Republicans and 74 percent of Democrats agree.

25 percent overall say birther advocates “really believe that”; 49 percent of Republicans and 18 percent of Democrats agree.

62 percent of Americans overall say this statement is true: Mr. Obama “was born in the U.S.”; 34 percent of Republicans and 84 percent of Democrats agree.

38 percent overall say the statement is false.; 66 percent of Republicans and 16 percent of Democrats agree.

30 percent overall say Mr. Obama should locate his future presidential library in Illinois.

24 percent say the library should be located in Hawaii; 21 percent are not sure.

6 percent say the library should be in Kenya, 5 percent say in New York.

    The issue was settled when Pelosi signed off on Obama’s eligibility way back in December 2008.

    The facts of obama’s ineligibility have been well known from the beginning, and after 5 years, ignorance is inexcusable.

    It is our congress and courts, with the unquestioned support of all media outlets, including those claiming to be conservative, or expressing total support and understanding of our Constitution (such as rush limbaugh) that try to portray those who will not succumb to their lies, labeling truth with ridicule, such as intended pejoratives like “birther” that promote birtherism as some fringe cult.

    I think we can take pride in Mrs Orly Taitz in her resolve.

    Obama is not running for President, does not need your votes and will not become involved with the Birther issue.

    we do not need him to get involved, we only need to him to be removed and get imprisoned by one honest judge. the problem is to find one honest judge, but our ranks are growing and there is more and more pressure for corrupt judges to clean up their act and follow the law

    In Washington, Vice President Joe Biden phoned Yanukovych Tuesday and urged him to pull back forces and address the protesters’ “legitimate grievances.” A State Department spokesman said Secretary of State John Kerry shared Biden’s “grave concerns,” adding, “Ukraine’s deep divisions will not be healed by spilling more innocent blood.”

    Was this survey written by obots? Seems like just another effort to muddy the waters.
    One question would suffice. “Is he constitutionally qualified to be the POTUS?”

    Candidates proving their eligiblity to hold the office they seek is nothing more than plain, every-day common sense; the very reason our election LAWS place the burden of proof of eligibility on the CANDIDATE, not on those questioning his eligibility.

    Our nation’s founders would be turning over in their graves to see how supposedly impartial judges knowingly ignore and refuse to enforce the very law they SWORE to UPHOLD!

    You dishonestly ignore the fact that the issue is not whether Barack Hussein Obama, Barry Soetoro, Harrison J. Bounel or whoever he is, is running for president, but the rule of law, and whether he is an illegal alien; an imposter who has fradulently usurped an office for which he is ineligible and is therefore a mere poseur who must be immediately arrested, incarcerated (to prevent flight) and tried in a court of law.

    Ignorance of Vera H. is appalling. What Nancy
    Pelosi signed (in separate versions) was pure
    fraud, and settled nothing. IMO, Ms. H. should
    read Canadian Free Press article on the wording,
    fraud, and the inaccurate type of document that
    Pelosi signed off on. Pure treason and perjury
    and felony and fraud. All sorts of lies in 2008.

    Ms. Hernandez is another dumb obot, moron, and
    troll. Too bad, so sad. IMO. Adieu, Adios, and
    Arrivederci.
