In his speech at the University where he made the comment about being treated worse by Northern liberal elites than by those in the segregated South, Clarence Thomas shows that he is clueless about the racial problems that we are having in this country today. In the speech, he also blames society for being too sensitive to race. It is so easy to blame “society” as the boogie-man when uncomfortable with placing blame where it really should be placed. He said that there is more racial tensions today than during segregation. I don’t think he realizes that he is unknowingly making an argument for a return to segregation. All these people in high office either are totally clueless or are afraid to confront and to put their finger on the fundamental causes of the problems that we face today. They all dance around it as though it does not exist.

    The elephant in the room.
I wrote to the SCOTUS 2008, no response. Clarence Thomas should stand for the truth: ” I am a man, not a black man. Just a man” …without balls

Lysander, Judge Thomas is just speaking the truth. The real racists have always been the Liberals from up north. The Yankee states are the ones experiencing the vast majority of the Knockout Game incidents. There’s your proof.
