As you may have already heard by now, Boehner brought the ‘clean’ debt ceiling increaseto the floor with only the support of 28 Republicans. The majority of Republicans voted against the measure, however with 28 Republicans it ensured that Boehner could get this ‘clean’ debt ceiling increase passed with a majority of Democratic votes.

So which Republicans voted with the Democrats to pass this?

As a side note, I’d also like to point out that the official title of this bill (S.540) in the House is “To designate the air route traffic control center located in Nashua, New Hampshire, as the “Patricia Clerk Boston Air Route Traffic Control Center””. Seriously. Are they trying to hide this vote in the future by putting it under this Senate-originated bill? You have to look at the NOTE before you realize what it does: The measure is expected to be a vehicle to extend the public debt limit and repeal a reduction in the cost-of-living adjustment for military retirees.

Well they can try and hide it if they want, but we won’t forget this.

    $18 Trillion in debt and these 28 Traitors vote to raise it even higher!!! These 28 are determined to destroy America!

    17.3 trillion in debt to be exact and 28 GOP congressmen joined 200 corrupt Democratic party congressmen, don’t forget them

    Boehner did that to throw the blame to the President when we are outnumbered to start … it might be worth removing the argument from 2014 election … sorry, but this sounds like an attempt to make a point.

    Who are the REAL traitors? The entire left side of our government who is holding all the bills from the House on Harry Reid’s desk … pretty tough to blame the GOP as they are hand cuffed.

    A rather crappy–though possibly effective–way to take this issue off the table during 2014 and move Obamascare “front and center”…can’t play the”Republicans are obstructionists” game before 2014 elections…
