In spite of the original plan by NTSB not to recover the plane, according to the airline owner Richard Schuman, the plane will be raised and analysed to ascertain what caused the failure. See prior report by a contributor Mr. Ken Thompson

Orly,

This is the engine that powered the plane.
Shaft speed is 1900 RPM.
Best wishes,
Ken

They will just alter the findings of the investigation to show it was a fluke deal. TWA Flight 800 is a perfect example.

That shaft speed is after the speed reduction gear box. The pt6 is a very reliable turbine engine but they do quit, I can say from experience of flying them. Until they look at it we won’t know what happened.

Being a former airline pilot and aircraft mechanic I agree with the findings of the TWA 800 crash, it was an overheated center tank that was empty and contained fumes.

Anyone else feel like they are reading customer product reviews i.e., sucks/excellent?
I too, was an aircraft “mechanic” whatever that means. We never let stuff go out on the premise of might, maybe and could be.

Satire News flash, Richard Schuman dies in an untimely car accident where all of his wheels mysterious fall off?

better not make such jokes

Mark, the cover up of TWA Flight 800 has been proven. The Feds destroyed parts of the plane to hide evidence that the plane was hit by an explosive device. Go do your homework and then come back. If you are really serious in thinking that authorities don’t tamper with evidence then your living in a fantasy world.

better not make such jokes? …. I wasn’t joking? That is what’s happening to people who mess with ‘federal sanctioned murder’ evidence. The list is pretty long now.

The Fuddy crash, IMO, was like the 2002 Wellstone
air crash in Minnesota. At a certain angle,
too far a right turn, there is a minor explosion
in engine, and a stall happens. If one cannot
glide down, then there is a big crash. This
Fuddy situation seems similar. IMO. It is reported now that Kawasaki made an extreme
right turn to head back to Honolulu. Then a
boom/bang happened with a subsequent stall.
Please check this. IMO.
