    What did the mechanic say about your car? Had it indeed been tampered with?

    I don’t know yet, he did not call me yet, the car was towed Saturday morning, I hope to find out tomorrow.
    It might be a coincidence, but I noticed that a couple of times that my car suddenly stalled, happened in the same area in MV, around the same intersection. It might be a weird coincidence
    first time the mechanic replaced the transmission, right after he replaced it, I got warning lights on the dash board. He said, those were CO@ censors, then it was the converter. Now everything went bad: noise, smoke, warning lights. I am not a mechanic, I told him that the warning lights appeared after he replaced the transmission, he said those are not connected He claims that the converter is not related in any way to replacement of the transmission . Just another headache on top of everything else I have to deal with
